Trust wallet now offers prediction market

It's not the problem of the Trust wallet if someone becomes addicted to prediction markets. If I was the user of Trust wallet, I would find it pleasant and comfortable to have the ability to use Prediction Market so easily. I don't get addicted to such things and even if I got, that would be my responsibility and my own fault, not Trust Wallet's.

Absolutely correct. If something has various features, like prediction market in Trust Wallet, it is not a must to use this feature. I have Ledger wallet, but that I have never used swap feature, never bought directly crypto with fiat and never had Ledger crypto card. No doubt that heaving such features shortens way from money you have to placing a prediction, but I think people still will prefer popular Polymarket to prediction build-in feature.

Given the ongoing trend in prediction markets, Trust Wallet is poised to capture a user base of people who place bets while commuting home from work. For them, it is a form of leisure a way to get a thrill and an adrenaline rush and there are millions, even tens of millions, of such casual players worldwide. Trust Wallet will undoubtedly profit from this.

By adding such new features like prediction markets, trust wallet wanna draw more users' attention but it also raises some concern. I mean people use trust wallet to manage their crypto assets but besides adding sports prediction, political news and other things can make this platform complicated. Besides some people may use that prediction as a safe way to earn money while that can lead them to financial crisis. Although i see this as an interesting development but trust wallet should need to maintain security when it comes to adding new features along with making the wallet simple and secure

It seems that they are heading to a new direction, and I'm guessing that that direction needs to generate a lot of money. This looks likes coinbase, they also added a prediction market on their system and it seems other wallet follows. We maybe seeing other wallet follow this trend.

We can't control these wallet companies as they are trying to generate revenue to sustain their businesses. Prediction market is hot right now and I think that they are trying to take the opportunity as they have an existing user base, they only need to add the prediction market and wait for people to use it. I'm seeing this more on the business side.

I feel Diversifying to make money other ways will be more with exchange wallet because they are strictly in business. If trust wallet really wants to go into business like this they would have create an exchange just like bitget, they have a custodial wallet and exchange. Trust wallet is known to be a non-custodial wallet, and I'm sure they know the main reason why investors prefers to keep bitcoin in a non-custodial wallet,  mainly to hodl Bitcoin. Having prediction market on trust wallet a diverted attention.

Of course everyone will have its own client, but I still think that people will chose to access Polymarket and make a deposit to place a bet, than skip few steps and do basically the same in Trust wallet. I think such thing as crowd effect will work. If everyone use Polymarket and it is popular, then I will also use it, even if there are alternatives.

Why I would also use Polymarket instead? Because psychologically, when there is something original and copycat, then I think that copycat is always worse, does not have all features, is less convenient and etc. If there is something original, nothing can be 1:1 like it is and give same experience. But that is just my feeling.

Maybe they're just testing the waters for now before going all in on something like this. What I hope is they don't overload the app though, I always liked how simple it is. A wallet that does one thing well is hard to beat.

Some of the digital wallet apps have gambling promotions and affiliate, where you can deposit directly from the bank app into the casino account and bet with, the transactions appears almost immediately, which shows the close cooperation between the bank and the casino payment system.

Next step would have hardware wallet providers to offer gambling and betting on the hardware wallet themselves. Hopefully it never happens!

Of course it can happen. You don't use hardware wallets in seems? How is Ledger able to provide services like swap services directly in their wallet? It is because this does not happen on the physical device, it happens on the interface to the device so the software wallet that you install on your computer. This means that they can do this, and with enough monetary incentive they will do this. Most companies that were pro Bitcoin or ideals behind Bitcoin and stuff like that have sold out when more money came to the table. It was with shitcoin scams of all sorts, they enabled thousands and thousands of scams to happen this way and made people lose billions and billions in total. Why would it be any different with prediction markets? Gambling is very lucrative and prediction markets have been all the hype in recent times. As I said, a very profitable deal just needs to be offered and they will happily sign up for it.
