We need  donate extra than 3btc to get even a current wallet?why?
Seems bad, and the block taxing the developer will receiving also?
Beecoin good start nice comunity but not sure developer.too many projects i think.

Block taxing is not mainly for the developer but for Beecoin to sustain and to fund future projects , remember this is not a pump and dump coin. I haven't taken 3 BTC for the current wallet we are looking at the entire picture here.
I have given BEEcoin a start and I was not expecting much from you here , these expenses were born by me and I was backed by John and Crypto hunter and a few generous donators to help me help BeeCoin , John came at a time I was at immense pressure and helped me come back up , which I will never forget what he did for me and give all of him , you should not forget too what they did and are doing to bring back BeeCoin and bring a good future for the BEEs , a word of respect would be wonderful than complaining.
Some people never see good around them, just sad.

~SoopY~

I don't say anything bad,but take so long to make a wallet? .I think to busy to help beecoin.3BTC is a lot to make any coin. What take so long? also best pay after job done not before job starting. Finish job then payments. Not saying you are trying scam us but never pay first on this board i know about it.Very unusual way to conduct.

More than 8btc x2 no way. Very bad. Tell us.

OK, send the dev a PM. I will send him a PM also, regarding the new qt client. I just wanted to give him time to get it right. He is working behind the scenes. We also need to get the algorithm sorted.

Lol you are openly attacking a Dev who took to support BEEcoin without asking anything back and now you saying I asking money to release the wallet?Mate get your facts straight.

If you want you can help out , if not then you can refrain , it's your choice this is a democracy.

You aren't forced to do anything.

But openly attacking attacking the Dev or the community or disrespecting the same is unappreciated.

You think making coins can be done out of thin air? lol.

Please get your facts straight before posting any more vague replies.

Ofcourse I've noticed there are many people like you trying to pull the leg when there is something being done.

I just don't care!

Hey Everybody have noticed that We really need to get on a good exchange or else their won't be anywhere to trade Bees!

Currently:

EXCHANGES
https://www.cryptorush.in Bitcoin market removed still trade for LTC/DOGE/POT Can't withdraw LTC though, plus everything at your own risk
https://www.allcoin.com/trade/bee_btc Bitcoin market removed yesterday still trade for LTC
https://coin-swap.net/market/BEE/ Beecoin removed
http://pmtocoins.com/Site down
http://www.178coin.com Beecoin removed

So Keep voting on Mintpal, We are currently 29th on the list or about 5.21 BTC worth of votes away from the top!  If you can't afford to buy votes just try and vote multiple times a day with the 5 free votes an hour!

I just tried

https://www.allcoin.com/trade/bee_btc

and it said the market does not exist and I was redirected to the site home page. Like you said there is still a BEE/litecoin market there. They must have recently removed the BEE/bitcoin market because BEE was trading below 1 sat.

They fixed the OpenSSL bug quickly though. The top of the site currently says

We've solved the OpenSSL Heartbleed Bug and passed the safety test

And ofcours I'm not looking to run away with anything? lol I'm a developer not some one looking for money if I wanted it then I would have not support or help develop many coins in the beginning and would have asked payment every time I was suppose to do an update.
It's not the wallet that I or John are talking about it the respect you have for something you are getting free , which you respect is nil and lol I was asked by John and cryptohunter to help get BEE back on it's feet a few weeks ago and we discussing things on the previous thread and people including John and cryptohunter were helping out getting there , I was giving my everything and ofcourse they funded to get new nodes for the Algorithm change since we have to have 51% of the new nodes with the wallet when we are in transition to the new algorithm , where were you and your patriotism them? I've given John the break down and everything is spent on BEE not for me to buy a Villa in Las Vegas mate I have invested more than I invested have for BEEcoin out of my pocket and you want me to live just breathing? Where is your humanity and respect for something you are getting free?

You can't expect to have free mean and not give anything back to the community? at least have the courtesy to respect that, I hate to say but I do not tolerate disrespectful individuals.

I think everyone should just calm down. He wasn't trying to say that you asked for money to release the wallet; he took GREEDYJOHN's response as such, and to be completely honest it came across as if he was asking for donations before the new wallet was released. It was a bit distasteful.

Poll would be closed in the next 24 hours , please cast your votes by then.

Developments will proceed thereafter.

Caution: Try to buy up or mine as much as BEEs within the next 2 - 5 days , since after the update , you won't be able to find cheap BEEs.

If only bee.updamoon.com would fix their pool. Blocks haven't been confirming there for days now. Sent an email to them and still no reply.

Hey guys, let's not argue. Soopy is trying to help us out. Also nobody has to donate if they don't wish to. Yes, i know a few of you guys said you will help out when things are completed. That's fine we need not argue now over this. John did not show you the full break down so that is why the target btc seems expensive.

He showed it to me and i saw things like...

2BTC for buying onto good exchange,
2BTC for android wallet

some for servers for nodes ...

etc etc, but these things yes can come after the new algo and we can gradually get investments and interest will grow then when people see we are seriously going to redesign the coins structure.

I agree investment is very important because without it we can not get everything we would like done. However firstly is community spirit. I support Beecoin because it was the first 100% fair launch i have seen in nearly 1 year everything seemed to go perfectly This coin would have already been a much bigger success if the old dev did not abandon. However, since i believe he did not get many coins or perhaps not even mine he later lost interest or ran out of funds for things. It seems he paid for BEE to go on crytorush etc so he did more than he ever got back.  I would never think i would say this but really you can be too fair as a dev, if you leave yourself with nothing then you do lose interest. The block tax idea should how all coins are done, the developer gets a 1% share of all blocks but it is gradual so no dumping and incentive to push the coin forward at all times.

So anyway i hope everything will continue to go well for this coin, it deserves to pick up a bit due to it being fair and you guys wanting to help donate to the bee saving charities.

I know some people are planning marketing drives after the algo switches and beecoin is stable and people can download a wallet and stick with it. I too have mined a lot of beecoins even with just a fraction of rigs on it since it is very easy to mine. I will be giving around 50% out in marketing ideas.  For now just keep a rig or 2 on beecoin and be ready when the algo changes over and is working well get ready to tip soopy an ltc or 2 if you can. If you do not have funds in crypto to give then support in other ways perhaps marketing, social, ideas for the coin, anything but bee active if you wish to see the coin do well. If you sit back and do nothing and rely on others progress will not be very fast.

I have noticed this community is great considering it's size which is why i do support beecoin and will lend as much help as i can to you guys as often as i can. I support the idea of saving bees and i really like the perfect launch.

This coin was actually an example to all coins of how to launch from the miners view point.

Anyway beecoin has soopy now and he is doing his best to help take the coin to the next level. Support him in any form you wish be it feedback on things or asking questions, giving ideas. Whatever but don't give the guy a bad time already. If he is taking a bit of time then just give him a little bit of time. Remember though if soopy shows great results and helps your beecoins rocket in value... should we not pay him back for his work? developers have to survive and eat too. Yes wait for sure if you want but please do not forget him once the job is done.

Also soopy is a coin developer, he is not a marketing or community manager.

We need 2 people for marketing, and for managing the community...  do we have any volunteers?

In return i offer from my own beecoins  - 5 000 000  per week each person. This is like a job. For this you will need to come up with ideas , discuss with community, build action plans, and then with community help take action.

This figure may be reduced or stopped but you will get a weeks notice before it happens so you will always get paid for your work.

We will need to vote on certain things using the thread in some cases before action is taken. Also no huge marketing yet until we have the latest wallet for now...and then the latest wallet for the new algo beecoin.

I offer now again 5 000 000 beecoins to anyone who will PM every single person on the last thread and tell them the new thread is open and they should come and vote on the new algo change and check out the new thread.

Beecoins are worth only a small amount right now.... but if we work together we can soon increase this value and do some good with the beecoins.

Meanwhile soopy will get the latest wallets up so new people coming to the thread can download and mine if they wish.

Anyone with a mac that can compile a mac wallet from the new source would be useful too i am not sure if soopy has a mac computer..... so 5000 000 bounty for that too.

Yes we need an abe block explorer whatever one of those is. That is something else. I'm not sure who can build us one. Will it need to be altered if we move to another algo?

I understand a lot of people are voting for blake 256 with POS... but what is great about it... what advantages does it have and why are so many people voting for it?

I'm really excited about the current direction things are going. Let's all do our best to keep it light and positive in here....and be a community that others would be proud to be a part of.

I'll quote myself from the first page.

Whoever is voting for x11, shame on you. After all the drama in the last couple of days about x11, it's become crystal clear that the average joe miner is being suppressed and inefficiently mining while a select few mine with a more optimized mining software which potentially gives them higher gains. It is the only reason why some members would cry bloody murder when confronted with providing technical answers as to why x11 is more energy efficient and/or secure than any other chained algo.

I personally think Blake256 might be the way to go. Reading http://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/1xue3t/blakecoin_blake256_optimized_faster_than_scrypt/, and it looks like a very promising algo.

Edit: also, anyone mining at bee.updamoon.com? Coins haven't been confirming for hours. I'm not sure when it started but it's definitely been in the last 24 hours.

Yes blake does seem very interesting indeed since merged mining would be possible in the future.

Regarding x11 i did start a thread on this algo to try to seriously find out if it was good or not. The end result of the discussion seemed to suggest that it was no better or no worse than qrk. Although some suggested there was a super charged miner for it  and possibly there is .... even the most knowledgeable people on there could not confirm so it may be there is not much room for optimising it as initially suspected... The chained algos seem to really be not much different at all. I guess x11 sounds fancy so that is the current fashion. Some said more algos = more orphans but then someone else said more algos = more collisions... either way jury was out and the thread never really revealed all that much either way. So qrk and x11 seem very similar.
Strangely a lot of the most knowledgeable ones seemed to not like the chained algos at all. I am not sure why.

I guess if something becomes massively popular like x11 is becoming this will inspire asics faster than algos that are not used so widely. Then again since i have no real idea how asics work...so for instance and asic that can mine x11, would it not also be able to mine blake? since that is one of the algos? could it mine qrk also? i mean from the x11 topic i could not really get the answers i wanted.

I mean is an asic for x11 going to mine qrk also? does the randomness of qrk stop it being able to?  certainly i guess a asic for qrk could not mine x11 because it needs more algos plugged in? so is more algos better or random algos better to fight asics? ....hehe if only i knew how the pesky asics worked.

Scrypt jane N is interesting

With Blake i guess there is a chance that asics could seriously be developed since it is a single algo that is not memory hard. So although it looks like a very nice algo we need to think about it because we are moving from scrypt because of the asic issue.

So right now out there is it quite hard to make the correct choice.

So i see a lot are voting x11 with POS. I guess if the community wants it they must have it like with all democratic votes. I would have prefered QRK algo with pos that would be nice, not that it is proven better only that it has been tested for longer. Not being a coder myself it is hard to know and you have to listen to the opinions of others who understand these matters more indepth.

I will try to read up futher on blake, kecca is another one that a lot like. There is also this strange sounding one grolestch or some such name, that runs very cool on peoples gpus, this is very important with the summer advancing now.

New Block Explorer is around the corner.

great news soopy Smiley

also we should get the block taxes agreed now...

my vote since now 50% of the minting is almost done which i think was a bit to accelerated really but that was the devs copy of doge i guess. 100k block halving.  But yeah since half is nearly gone...

2% dev for continued interest - expenses etc
2%  fund for projects
3% for bee projects whatever we vote to use them on.

If we add pos to add security then we will need to increase the minting a little bit because otherwise i guess we shorted the minting cycle even more quickly and it does not give new comers opportunity. I think this was discussed about boosting from 24 billion total to around 30 billion total a week or more ago but we need to all talk about that idea for a democratic decision.

This is why we really need everyone from bee coin to come back to this updated thread and have their say since it effects them all.

So again i will mention the

5 000 000 beecoins for pming everyone in the first thread with a message that i will write out and then after i test a few to make sure they got the message then you get 5 000 000 beecoins.

Also any persons interested in becoming community manager?

Running away from scrypt asics only because their price is absolutely ridiculous. Quoted from the link I posted:

Quote
The idea that ASIC resistance is important for crypto currencies has become widespread, however it is based on a fallacy.

If and when asics for blake256 are built, they will be much much more affordable, and asics are necessary for a coin in the long term. When a coin becomes popular, it gains a lot of attention; this prompts the asic manufacturers to spring into action and create asics for the "hot" algo, those asics in turn help secure the blockchain. Asics didn't kill BTC, and they won't kill LTC or DOGE either, but they will kill a ton of crap/shit coins due to pathetically low network hashrates. Beecoin currently doesn't have enough network hashrate to survive scrypt asics, so it's best to move to blake256 to avoid attacks and give the coin a chance to move forward and become popular enough to gain enough hashrate before blake256 asics are ever invented and released.

So the only reason to run from asics is because we have a pathetically low network hashrate right now, but once we have enough then there won't really be a need to run, plus we position BEE optimally so that when blake256 asics do arrive that a lot of miners will be able to continue to mine BEE by buying affordable asics instead of ridiculously expensive scrypt asics.
