I'm not sure what happened but I can't connect to EU based nicehash server anymore (goes for all algorithms). USA works no problem.

This happened after some test mining that I did to check the hash speeds. I basically started and stopped mining several times in relatively quick successions.

Is it possible my IP was somehow banned?

Newbie question, just we are installing NiceHash Miner then its automatically mine profitable coin right ? Do we have to change any config or something?

They are having huge problems right now nicehashbot has not been working all day probably because the server is unavailable.

this is 1st off all my congratulation 2 your (only?) 2 years of wonderful service,
which I use from the beginning,
2 keep my hardware "burned-in" .

The new central earning page here [ https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=miners&new&addr=YOUR_BTC_ADDR_HERE ] saves "a lot of clicking" .

But there are still some uncertainties left,
which I will point out, when I know,
whether they are miner- or frontend- based.

... especially ETH is "pain in the ass".

The last few days it seems, NiceHash has a little problem in providing "X11 work" (many restarts), ETH sometimes seems "dead" - no payments [ETH] over a week so far.

P.P.S. I do painfully remember loosing over 1 BTC at "Craptsy" with "ALTs" - this is why I use NiceHash ... because only BTC matters !

They are having huge problems right now nicehashbot has not been working all day probably because the server is unavailable.

Could be. I noticed EU servers just started working again so whatever it was, it was resolved. For now.

I doubt it's isolated to me. It is happening from multiple locations/networks and different PC's. Nicehashbot crashes constantly with a server error . I wrote the info down before and am too lazy to keep looking it up).

Yes, it's not just you, it's down since hours and BTC in orders are still draining and hash being delivered.
Though I have no way to either cancel or re-adjust my orders since hours. The site has been down or acting erratically a lot in the last days.

'Time-sensitive' and mining doesn't compute... on nicehash at least....

Nicehashbot has been stable since last night, so they 'fixed' whatever is all specifically related to me.. *ROLL EYES*. It's their crappy servers. It is constantly up and then down again.
Nicehashbot's terminal window shows this many times during the day, then crashes it.

No wonder most people don't use it. I'm the only one dumb enough to. lol

Version 1.4.0.0 of NiceHash Miner has just been released. It brings:

• Added the ability to submit per-device benchmark results to NiceHash's profitability calculator
• Fixed bug regarding infinite amount of error messages when an invalid Bitcoin address is used
• Removed default Bitcoin address, users are encouraged to use it's own Bitcoin address upon starting NiceHash Miner
• Automatically removes old Ethereum DAG files
• Ethereum benchmark speed is more accurate now by using up-to-date DAG file
• Fixed benchmark DAG file location for Ethereum
• Added trim to remove extra spaces in some of the CPU names
• Added the ability to mine Ethereum on NVIDIA_3.X GPUs
• Removed NeoScrypt from the algo list for NVIDIA_3.X as it is not supported anymore
• Added the ability to mine only with certain device(s) for AMD Ethereum mining

AMD GPU USERS - PLEASE READ! In some particular combinations of Windows version + AMD Driver version benchmarks on some algorithms keep getting terminated. If the particular algorithm that is being terminated is shown on pause on the front page of NiceHash.com (No orders - mining unavailable), then this is normal expected behavior. However, if benchmark is also terminated for active algorithms, then you have to apply workaround solution. The solution is to copy all .cl files from the [..\bin\sgminer-5-3-0-general\kernel] folder into [c:\Users\[your_username_here]\appdata\local\temp\] folder and then re-run the benchmark for the algorithms that are terminated during benchmark.

Hi Nicehash
I have downloaded version 1.4.0.0 and run it, also setup my bitcoin address. When I run the benchmark it tests all available algorithms. once it gets to testing Ethereum on Nvidia 3x it just sits there saying "please wait" for quite a long while, even clicking "stop benchmark" doesn't change it, I have to close the miner with task manager. Is this a problem with the miner or is there a workaround. Any help would be appreciated.
