KnC Titan users:

We suggest you to use #xnsub AND #skipcbcheck parameters to get stable mining on NiceHash or WestHash, example:

stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com/#xnsub#skipcbcheck

With those settings you'll be able to get a stable 350 Mh/s average speed with fw 1.95 overclocking at 325MHs.

Proof:

btw: average NiceHash/WestHash Scrypt profitability is aprox. 25% more then direct Litecoin mining.

Website down again.  This time its costing me serious money and all the miners, because I can't refill my order.

Are you sure? Its not to me. Try http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/westhash.com.html for WestHash and http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/nicehash.com.html for NiceHash to check whether the sites are down just to you or all.

Its up again yeah.  It sucks when you want to pay to play and get hash for cash, but you can't.

Does anyone know if the AntMiner S5 supports #xnsub?

Not yet, but we are working with Bitmain to provide #xnsub support for AntMiner S5 as well as  AntMiner S4 . It should be available very soon, we'll post here when it's ready.

Actually. Surprisingly yes. It does work at least with the current firmware from the website. Just add #xsub to the end of the stratum line and viola.

So SHA256 rental profitability is 9% over straight BTC.

Any ideas why this has suddenly ticked up? Not that I'm complaining ;-)

Altcoins. Some of them have been mining with pretty high efficiencies recently.

There has also been a major exchange theft and I suppose buying hash is a way to launder coins. The stolen ones are distributed to hundreds of innocent hash sellers, and the crook gets new ones off a pool.

Try ShadowCash, the first coin with instant and decentralized private transactions!

Is there a way to specify profitability as a percentage instead of as a BTC/TH/Day price constant?

As it stands today, if you want a constant profitability percentage threshold, don't you have to change the p=xxx parameter periodically after BTC network difficulty adjustments?

It would be nice to be able to specify something like this, to represent 4% over BTC, for example:

t=0.04

With usage of provided API, it is trivial to create hundreds of orders if you want.

I guess I answered my own question because after the difficulty change today, my miners switched away from WestHast and towards another pool because the difficulty change was greater than my specified margin of profitability. This happened in spite of the fact that WestHash was running at a very desirable 10+% over BTC at certain points today.

My miners would have stayed pointed at WestHast automatically if I had been able to specify the percentage of profitability over straight BTC mining rather than a specific BTC/TH/Day price. Instead I had to manually intervene, recompute a new constant taking into account the latest difficulty, and restart my miners with the new parameters.

I would love to just set and forget a percentage value that would keep my miners pointed at WestHash for as long as they maintain a profitable margin above BTC. Seems like this would be in the pool's best interest also for situations like today where the difficulty rises but profitability is still relatively good.

Nicehash, please consider adding the ability to specify a percentage instead of constant.

Thanks in advance for your consideration.

What happened to my BTC? Apparently most of it went somewhere, but I didn't get paid, because the last payment is from yesterday. The frontend was down and is stil showing a gap where there actually wasn't a gap in mining. The start and end timestamps of the gap are exactly the same. Did I miss something?

There was crash of stats server. No coins were lost, only stats are broken. Hover your mouse over graph to see date and time of stats and you will see that stats are simply "missing".

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I understand that the stats are missing, and I noticed that by hovering the mouse. But before the crash I had 0.00581553 BTC unpaid balance and after the crash 0.00164576 BTC. So 0.00416977 BTC went somewhere, but it didn't get paid to me (as can be seen from the payment list and the black line).

Write to support@nicehash.com - tell your BTC address. I am sure coins were paid because internal audit report that we are performing several times per day is showing everything being OK. Have you considered last payment - that is in the table below graph? Try to find it on the graph.

Can anybody tell me why pools show up often as OFFLINE lately to me?
Only sporadically connected to Nicechash Multialgo Sad

The same situation is happening to me.  The port for the most profitable coin is not open in multialgo mining.

Are you 100% sure that you have all the algorithms configured with ALL your NiceHash / WestHash pools/profiles configurations?

You have to configure pools/profiles with blank password ("pass") parametere for all multi-algo algorithms with default parameters, or if you want to select only a subset of algorithms you have to set fX=0 to disable a particular fX algorithm.

Please take a carefull look at the configuration examples here: https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=multialgo#examples

If you have proper configuration then multi-algo will work 100%. The issues with "all multi-algo ports being down" is always related to sgminer misconfiguration (some algorithm missing).

Hmm, I didn't have Lyra2RE and Neoscrypt configured yet. Today my miners again wont connect. Here is my config now... I don't see a problem with it? Might it have something to do with CGRemote or something?
