When is the class-action lawsuit getting started?
it was a classic exit scam your money is gone
I saw this in twitter: So, can you explain how you get hacked cold wallets ? Oh my god! Another proof for exit Scam. We saw their faces. We know where they are and we know who they are. Someone call Police. We have to bring them to court. I think if we all do Lawsuit together we'll get back our money sooner. We need a campaign right now This is a legal way for getting back the money. but If it does not work we can call Mafia for getting back our money in illegal way.
What are you talknig about? did you guys read CEO speaks at wikitribune? Seems i was wrong like you but More info for you Q: What steps will NiceHash take to regain its customers trust?
A: The support we have received from our community during this crisis has been immense. We are truly moved by the tens of thousands of messages from our community of miners. We are taking all the necessary steps to re-establish our systems with bullet-proof security protocols, and enable miners to start earning money again.
We understand why everyone is upset, and we are truly sorry. We are taking responsibility and want to demonstrate the openness and transparency which is the cornerstone of the world in which we work.
We know we have to build up trust again, we know that, but the overwhelming majority of our community of nearly 750,000 registered users have been very supportive and want us to get the site up and running so they can start making money, mining and leasing again.
It will take time but we are working on a solution to ensure all users are reimbursed. That is clearly a key concern for our users, and we understand this, we are not running away from our responsibilities. As soon as we have a plan in place we will update all users on our intended solution, and we’re sorry for any inconvenience which has been caused.
We’re going to make sure that we learn from this and come back even stronger and safer.
Q: What’s the likelihood of the company covering more than $60m in losses? Are you able to compensate users?
A: We fully intend to make this right. It’s a matter of deep concern to us and we’re working hard to rectify the matter in the coming days. We’re working on a solution to ensure that all users are reimbursed. These things are delicate matters, and take time, so we would ask our community to be patient while we get this fixed and fully investigated. As soon as we have a full plan in place we will communicate it to our users and all those affected https://www.wikitribune.com/story/2017/12/11/technology/nicehash-ceo-speaks-out-after-60m-cryptocurrency-hack/27212/I haven't read one. everything about repaying affected users will be cleaned tomorrow. If Nicehash is done or isn't, will be clarified tomorrow for me. NiceHash is coming back tomorrow!
Dear miners:
Final checks are in progress and NiceHash.com platform will be back online and operational tomorrow, December 20, 2017 until 24.00 CET.

Is it possible to mine in a NiceHash pool using hashing power rented from NiceHash?
No, this would lead to self-loop and is not supported. Best regards, NiceHash team so any info on payback for us renters you owe me close to 1000 usd.

They will not be offering full reimbursement, of that I am sure. They will offer some scheme whereby you get zero fees until you paid back, and then in a couple of years when the wallet is looking fat again, there will be another "hacking" and they will so sorry and claim to be working with the "authorities" etc.
Rinse and repeat.

Zero fees to reimburse who ? Only sellers ? As a buyer, I can say we lost a lot too.

Will NiceScam really come back? I will not rely on them when they come back. Even if all BTCs are refunded. Perhaps they will repeat the scam.

No need for rinse and repeat. But they will do what you say maybe 1% fees. vs 3% for buyer and seller. This would be to losers of coin such as myself as a seller or a buyer of hash I lost say account 1 100 usd account 2 400 usd account 3 450 usd about 950 usd If I pay 1% vs 3% I gain 2% a week and in a year I am paid off. While I think it is shitty method of repayment it could work.

While I think it is shitty method of repayment it could work. Yeah...the logic is sound but they could also do 3% and pay incrementally back into user accounts. For example, I would not use nicehash for mining due to mining other things - but at the time of the hack, due to being lazy, I had a couple of rigs on there for some time. In that scenario I would not be paid back. But i do see that would incentivize people to use their service again. I have very mixed feelings about nicehash now. Even Zawawa quit nicehash before the hack and is now doing gatelessgate sharp (its nice, check it out). I just dont trust them.

While I think it is shitty method of repayment it could work. This doesn't make sense. If they went to zero fees then in a year I would have an extra 3% on what I earned. I lost $3000 so I would need to eventually earn $100,000 to be made whole. I wish!

Well they have just said that all balances will be paid back. I suppose they are getting a loan or investment or something. If that is the case, then I'd like to take back all I've said against nicehash and hope all goes well in the future. I still don't like the idea of the difficulty of coins I mine being crushed soon though...

Website is online, it's a bit slowdown, but it's expected since thousands and thousands peoples are trying everything in the same time.
About the money, Andrej confirmed that money will be returned and to sellers and to buyers just I'm not sure untill 31.01 or at 31.01.

I should say sorry for my aggressive judgment about NH. They looks legit and reliable. I would continue my business carefully with them until full reimbursement. After that my all trust come back again.

Looks like it wasn't an exit scam after all. Despite the unfortunate event, we are letting you know that our service will be resumed today and your money will be paid back!
We are happy to announce we have been able to reserve the funds required to restore balances from a group of international investors. Old balances will therefore be restored by January 31, 2018. We need this interim period to ensure all legal paperwork is processed correctly, so please be patient while we do this. https://pastebin.com/xVEwBzdS

This is surprising news. I am still very skeptical a refund will happen but it seems there is a glimmer of hope.

Right now, can't do much of anything mining wise. They released a new 2.0, but did't mention it and now nothing can connect. Strats are gone. Can't benchmark anything. Not a good start.

Hmm this is funny. I open app to check my balance since the Nicestats saved info up to point of server being taken down. Here is before picture https://imgur.com/gallery/ZL2DS Here is what it shows now after it’s gotten data from the servers again. https://imgur.com/gallery/fGsCJBr

How do we see how much money was stolen from our accounts? When I log in I see a zero balance but I know for a fact I had some money in my account.
