why not just make the westcrap site just a node to connect for the ones who wants to, and not a place where they can place bids ? west site is keeping prices down, because no one is there ...

ps : i will ask this until i get an answer

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

It has already been explained. Buyers need to have a choice whether to buy from EU or US so they can minimize reject rates on their chosen pools.

That dosent make sense, buyers can buy at a certain price, and they can choose on what server to mine after, is that simple.

U buy at X price, and after u choose where u want to mine, EU or US, how about that ?

That's pretty much a suggestion I made a few pages back.  Unified order book with a preference given to one of the exit nodes.  The twist I added in was the ability to service from the other node (or future nodes) if hash power was available and the buyer was willing to accept higher rejects for faster servicing of the order.  This should help bring convergence in buyer price between the nodes.

If only TCP protocol allowed you to keep connection alive but to different IP. But with change of stratum proxy, reconnect is needed thus making our extranonce subscribe extension obsolete.

Please, stay in boundaries of technical limitations.

ASIC miners: BFGMiner VERSION 4.7.0, AUGUST 17 2014 introduced "mining.set_extranonce extension": https://bitcointalk.org/?topic=626361.msg8390976#msg8390976

If you can upgrade to this version we highly recommend it since you'll get better efficiency when mining on NiceHash/WestHash (no disconnects).

  • Stratum: Support for mining.set_extranonce extension; put "#xnsub" at the end of the pool URI to enable.

Please report any issues to BFGMiner thread.

I have diverted almost all my hashing power to westhash in the past day.  Coming up on 24 hours and I'm very happy.  I am making significantly more than I would on ghash.
Can't say as I completely understand everyone's technical complaints.  But it's working for me so far.

I'm on Westhash not nicehash so not sure.  But westhash did go out briefly this morning for a few minutes.  All my ants went to back up.  But 10 minutes later they moved right back.  I got a maintenance message when I tried to access the website so I am guessing they restarted servers or something.
If you were hashing fine on those settings before, just wait.  It will come back.  Don't change anything.

Prices seem to be lower on Westhash though despite the post saying payouts were the same on Nicehash/Westhash?  Undecided

Are you saying lower offer prices on westhash are pulling down the average paying price which lowers the payout to the miner? I don't think separating them again will fix that. there's nothing stopping low price orders from flooding either site...

they should NOT put any prices on westhash, and it should be just used as an alternative server for mining, thats it
we were getting a steady 0.6 rate on nice before west, now 0.3 ...

I think there was really just a dip for a while. Even with my lowly GPU mining I've been in the green for the last 2 days or so (although not by a ton, but still profitable).

This is unsustainable. Whoever is doing that will eventually run out of money because there is simply no use for such expensive sha256. Also the site risks losing buyers from this blatant kind of manipulation.
