Hi,

I have problems with one of my Hex16A2.
When powering it it says "phiuu" and psu shuts down seems like sort circuit problem.
With close look i can see two points of "error" on board.
https://app.younited.com/?shareObject=b576e3b2-fca5-5e58-bcbd-eb90c078dace
Looks like two capacitors misaligned.

With price range of hex16A2 i am not willing to send it anywhere to repair, postage ~30€ and return same it would be ~60€ for piece of  equipment with value of ~30€.

My question is that would it be likely that problem is with those two capacitors?
I have soldering iron and basic skills to use it. Should i start poking my hex16A2 with my iron  Huh

Tplink is ok
If your mining host is LE it might not work due to some endianess issues. Cgminer is not tested on LE platforms
Pi is not good for mining it is my personal opinion. Please do not use it.
Tplink always works... Cheesy

i've got same experience.
with windows: none of the miners did work
with pi: none of the miners did work/work stable

with tp-link: stable as a rock

i am using two tp-link: 1 for actual mining, 1 for upgrade, when upgraded its for actual mining. this way almost no downtime when there are isues with an upgrade.

Did you make any other changes? (like bugfixes or more efficiency with other hex miners).

I noticed you have coolers for sale with the minion board assembly. How many do you need for each board, or are they all ready included with the purchase?

No these are not included in the price.
If you purchase them from us they will be shipped disassembled anyway ( see what happened with one of the KNC batches)
You can use any intel 1150 compatible cooler , just make sure it can transfer @ least 100 W
4 chips , so you need 4 of these

Looking good!

Any ideas on when the BE200 board will be available roughly?

I'm thinking of adding some more miners and debating which ones... The minion boards would be something perhaps but individual chip price*4+shipping+taxes makes it a bit on the stiff side for euro/GH/s.
Will you be adding the full minion boards with chips also?

As for the poll, everything I bought from Technobit always arrived within the promised time, well packed, and everything is still merrily hashing away months later connected to a TP-link with Technobit firmware ;-).
I definitely recommend Technobit.

(I even managed to mess up grounding and usb power so bad once that multiple PSU's blew with sparks+flame+smoke, technobit miners are still 100% functional, running on a new PSU  Grin)
