Thanks again ZBC3 for the useful info. Ok,
..........
Can multiple tp links be on the same switch? Can say a 24 port switch run 2 tp links and 20 boards?
Could a 48 port run 4 tplinks and 40 boards? If I am headed in the right direction, sounds like to me I need a 36 port and a 24 port hub.
Thanks so much in advance!
Short answer is no.
There is no easy way for tplink to distigush what 10 boards to use
So it will turn out that multiple tplinks are talking to same board = A BIG MESS dude.
Besides hub needs 10 uplinks for usb hosts and so on and on forget it
In general i like smal deployments
Best option is single tplink + USb hub 4+ports a PSU appropriate for two boards 1000W+ at least. so my setup shares a common ground. Tplink is powered from USB HUB and HUB is powered from PSU +5v
So if something goes wrong with power or whatever else due to mistake, short etc you are loosing only two boards MAX.
If all are connected to same USB HUB the chance too lose them all is big.
Another option is let us say for 10 boards - TPLINK 10 port hub NxPSU - In that case just make sure that you plug the psu's for that setup in single PLUG and PSU power cables are connected in a !!!SAME WAY!!! in the extender. And choose the extender with thick wires for about 5KW
As you see from marto pictures it works. But marto knows how to do it using many PSU's
It is a messy. If you are not sure how to do it ask electritian to help you out
50 HEXM is a serious shit be careful with power
