Question regarding 240 GHs HEX8A1

http://technobit.eu/index.php?id_product=63&controller=product&id_lang=1
Power consumption is rated at 1W/GHs power

That is 240W, if I am correct.

The question: is it "power on the wall" or "power on the system"?

So in reality it works great @ about 1.1 - 1.3W/GHs @ 240 GHS
1w/ghs you can reach @ about 200 GHS , depending on your PSU quality .

So, what PSU is needed to run 1-2-3-4-5 miners, respectively? In regards to cables and performance. I appreciate you.

Marto > Martin?

Edit: I am beginner in this. Please be patient.

yes Martin Smiley
basicly 700 W PSU will run 2 boards @ 230/860 mV you need 2 PCI-e power lines per board , tough

Thank you.

Next questions (240 GHs HEX8A1):

- What is the total shipping size and weight of the box?

- What is the next weight and size of the naked item?

He did already answer to your question https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=564612.msg8792695#msg8792695

Let me help you make the calculation, for 240 GH/s: 1.3 W x 240 = 312 watt, that was on PSU side not on the wall.

Thanks for trying to help, but you just make it more complicated for me Sad

Now I read everything on PSUs and power consumption; I know it is a complicated topic in and of itself; and I am still learning...

For example, take a look at this page, of another company: https://ehash.com/product/avalon3-single-module-300ghs/
it provides clear explanations in layman's terms even I can understand, regarding power consumption.

Re: Let me help you make the calculation, for 240 GH/s: 1.3 W x 240 = 312 watt, that was on PSU side not on the wall.

Could you make it clear:
- which value is power on the PSU side
- which value is power on the wall?
Sorry, your sentence just made it 100% unclear to me which do you mean by which

You can link me a PSU 101 article as well. However so far I read quite a few of those, I understand the terminology in plain English, but not when people speaking jargon; thanks.

I said very clear that 312 watt is on PSU side.

Why don't you ask from the beginning that you need power on wall?
This is your first question:

ok, looks like you are not about to replace mine as you promised Marto.

I'll send you a PM with my order reference, is that enough to send me a new one and i send you the defective one back? or are you still working on that problem with the controller chips.

Would be nice if you can answer me
