common people !

Wow, that's messed up man...

Has anybody heard anything from DEV's ?
I notice even the GF members have stopped posting in this thread.
Can somebody please inform us on what is happening here Huh

Well guess nothing is happening, which is the cause of all the problems at this moment.
Dev comes online from time to time (Last Active: July 24, 2014, 09:57:49 PM), but clearly chooses not to respond in this thread.

Yeah, what a depressing fiasco. I guess you can't win them all. Looks like the person who seemed to be spreading FUD was just spreading truth. Fuckin scam coins ftw...

Ya win some, ya lose some! On the other hand sys and eth seem to be trying to do what this coin was all about creating the illusion of doing.

Didn't believe what? That this coin could be failing or that this coin is a scam? You know if you sling shit at the wall often enough eventually it will stick. If I went every on thread in this forum and called "scam" or "fail" I would be able to go back to 95% of them and say "See! I told you soooo!! Nah nah nah nah nah nahhhh!"

But that would make me a total asshole with an inflated sense of self worth.

Some of us know exactly what you were upset about and the matter of whether the dev should sell NRS or not is still debatable. So tell me, exactly what insight did you give that wasn't obvious as a possibility to anyone with half a brain?

I lost nothing in NRS. I admittedly have sold the majority of holdings and am in the the green on it no matter what. So my tirade is not out of a sense of loss, or as someone of your caliber might say "butthurt." It is out of an intolerance for bullshit.

This is the second time you came on here to say "I told you so." Get over yourself because you didn't tell us anything that we didn't already know. You just cast your opinion in your own light. And that is fine. But taunting people that lost money? Total dickhead move.

Can any of the GF shareholders please post how they feel about this whole situation ?

I can imagine they must be really pissed off about this whole thing.

Or are they still receiving payouts for their shares ?

And was anybody at the last Skype session ? What was discussed there ?

I don't want to believe this is happening. I invested in this coin, mined this coin from the beginning. First with all my CPUs then later with all my GPUs. FUCK! All those months of mining wasted all that electricity all those BTC.

Of course no one WANTS to see the coin fail. Well except for maybe lazj so he can toss around some more i told ya so's. Other than that though, i am still holding my coin hoping that this isn't another norbits project. Ya know, you try to give someone a chance at redemption. You allow your self to take the walls down, they might have failed in the past, but we cannot grow as humans without failing first. Then this, the repayment for your trust. Bariwhatshisnuts shouldn't be calling him self a dev, a ringleader perhaps. Devs can actually develop stuff, dude doesn't seem to develop much of anything other than mistrust and lies.

In May I was asked to contact them to help them promoting and probably with a giveaway. I did not use Skype and that is the last I heard from them, except for 1 more email in June (23th) telling me about a mandatory update.

Usually, when Devs suddenly stop talking / suddenly do not want to do business anymore with me, it's a sign of troubles to come. Seen it happen a few times Smiley Despite this, I really hoped things would go different for this coin. But for over 40 days I did not could get the wallet syncing. Today, checking it out I found all the troubles in the community. I checked their twitter: last tweet was end of June, launching a giveaway... After that (July) all is silent. Maybe they ran out of funds to fix wallet problems?

I dunno: long story short: I sent them an email, hope to hear from them. BUT my last emails (June) got ignored too... That was a reminder for promoting for them.

I''ll let you know if something changes :s

you mean you have the old wallet.dat??

Yes i have the old one, i deleted everything from %appdata% folder and used the old wallet.dat to sync the blockchain but i still get nothing once blockchain is done syncing.

Can private key be retrieved manually? without using qt wallet?

I think not. use the old wallet.dat create a NoirShares.conf and place it in the folder% appdata% noir shares.

You panic way too much. Anywho, we just successfully tested NRB 2.2 over the global network and it connected quite easily.

So, now we are contacting the exchanges and alerting them to the codebase shift.

Quick Summary of the past few weeks

1)NoirLotto alpha is in testing, however it is suffering EXTREME blockchain bloat due to the need to track every betting tx all the way up to the jackpot block .

2) I was quiet because simply, i was indisposed. Not ignoring any of you ar hiding or whatever it is you have been posting here.

3) NRS price, this falls to you guys. You complain that the price is low, but then you post derogatory stuff about me and my efforts, who do you think will support the price if you are posting unfounded comments?

4) NRB has a functioning chain that brings in some new ideas and a funny little accident that i'm sure small miners will appreciate.

5) The NoirSlots idea has been scrapped, as we are now looking to put all those and related ideas onto a website, rather than incessant production of new token, it's smarter to base our products on existing ones.

Near Future Plans

1) NRB relaunch -obvious

2) Once NRB has had a good run ~50k blocks we will combine a snapshot of it and NRS to create the Lotto codebase. It makes sense from a logical point and financial.

3) We will be hiring more people to handle stuff like graphics design and maintaining the Forum, over the next few weeks noirbitstalk will be very important as we plan to move our conversations there permanently. This is because maintaining NRB, NRS , Lotto, Help and Support eg etc threads here will become troublesome as this place is crowded.

4) NoirLotto is still on the desk due to bloating, once this is cleared up, snapshots will be made and we will commence betting. The system has proven more difficult than anticipated mainly due to the need of keeping every detail on the chain to ensure transparency and avoid invisible exploits.

5) The NoirSpace idea hass been scrapped, rather we'll be focusing on a web-based platform post NoirLotto to accomodate some of the ideas that have been tabled. The reason being, having multiple QT's is not an ideal situation, even the three that will exist in a few weeks ie NRB NRS and NRL will at some point be merged into a single QT to ensure sanity.

6) There will be a vote after the launch of NRL on the officer positions, all of them are game, even CEO.

7) The CFO has a complete accounting of the company's financials and will ensure to make them available before NRB 2.0 goes live.

Note NRB codebase is in a private git toensure fair launch, trying to use the experiments that are public on the git will result in wasted effort. Same goes for NoirLotto and NoirSlots.

Questions can be posted here but preferably on skype for immediate answers.

Likely launch date of NRB 2.0 is within the week. You need only move your coins to an exchange that lists it and they will credit you your version 2.0.

BTW, in the event i am just asked to launch NRL as it is, it will have to be launched and deployed in phases.

Phase 1) as it is at the moment

Phase 2) Implementation of stable betting system with little or no bloat at all (looking at the mini-blockchain idea or else the Expiring block chain idea)

Phase 3) Implementation of sub protocols like Zerocoin and maybe interactive betting items like secure chat

For those who are curious, here is a quick run down of how it's all supposed to work

1) User imports NRB/NRS key to take control of their balances

2) User starts betting engine

3) Engine Automatically places bets based on User input until told otherwise

4) bets from all users are tallied over the duration of 24 hours (still thinking maybe we should add a small PoW component , just to keep busy)

5) At Day's end Winners are selected (either you mine the block that rewards you or it will be a random allocation)

6) Once the Jackpot block passes all previous bets are nullified and the cycle starts again.

Where are the challenges?

1) Keeping track of bets + transactions in every block is causing serious blockchain growth eeven in the smallest enviroment

2) Deciding on winning mechanism,( using PoW opens up exploitation by huge miners ) i am thinking of using a even more modified allocator in comparison to the new NRB one, using maybe the entire day's blocks as an entropy source, then parsing the chain and picking a random active address to send winnings to. (opens up possible bloating as well, and maybe problems for those with slow connections.)

3) Choosing betting parameters ie house take, minimum bet (should we have a set minimum bet amount) eg etc.

These issues seem small in text but actually mean a lot of work and testing in code as well as making them logcally and financially sound.

Patience is important guys, as you know, i work on this mostly alone and only get help once in a while. It takes time.

Furthermore, NRS hasnt tanked, i just want to point out that most of you are holding, and also that it takes less than 2 BTc to triple it's current value. Let those who wish to panic sell, you just play the long game. You;'ll see the scramble for NRS and NRb when we are ready for snapshots. Koontas and his LemonFries will keep posting whatever they want but i'm still here, and i am working.

Heads up on NRB...yes it may be another momentum codebase, but the modifications we have made mean it will be cpu only for a while, which is just how i like it.

Wow you have a nerve! I am really shaking here with angryness. People have questions and you are above answering them? You have let this happen. You were the one tanking when the price was still good and after some questions were asked, you were the one that ignored them and failed to deliver, time and time again, and the price of NRS went down and down!  And then you have the nerve to say WE are the problem? You say you were indisposed, but you were online in the time being, you could have arranged for people to take over during that time! If you run a company, the company has to be able to go on when the CEO is indisposed! And choosing only skype for communications is blocking people out.
By the way, where is NRSlogan? Where are the other members of the team?
