I still haven't obtained any stake my stake is at 31007 network is at 8909 , the coins were a transfer from some i bought in Bitrex this week plus a few from another wallet i mined at pow time, ever since sunday at 2pm the stake stopped mining , i have a total of 59.4K coins at all ages , but i also as a test created a new wallet and sent them to another location and kept silent for 48hrs until it reached 1secs estimate of staking , as the wallets are now fully synced, one has a mixed bag and one has brand new , both reporting the same as staking in Green yet nothing is being minted or returned , I have had a problem only after updating to new wallet , i was happily minting all last week , then it started minting for about 3 hours then suddenly ended
this is my final stake received
Status: 2008 confirmations, broadcast through 17 nodes Date: 7/22/2014 14:09 From: unknown To: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Credit: 0.101643 BITS Net amount: +0.101643 BITS Transaction ID: 79005a207e6e245caaf3b4a1ce7ad02c67c0430c667d2a4aa64b58913bf8e100
Generated coins must mature 50 blocks before they can be spent. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours.
is there anything actually we can do to find out why some wallets have just stopped so suddenly and even with new transaction should start minting after it reaches 24hrs , and says minting/staking on the wallet in green.
Wallet 2 contains 58.3K , newly created and transferred from Wallet 1 Wallet 1 contains about 4k with some of the older coins that didn't goto wallet 2 plus a few thousand from Bittrex both wallets say staking / minting , colored green both have 9 Nodes No wallet has been touched or locked in 48 hrs
What also happens at block 185k and what is the Eta for that to happen. ?

Is it just me or does the payout from the multipool seem to be much lower than expected? I think we really need a feature to see stats for each round like average hashrate and coins per Mh. Anyone else with me on this. I understand it is a lot of work for you dev but it feels I bit like mining blindly now. Still I really appreciate all your hard work.
That is for 2 reasons, we're a day behind on payments, and there has been a fault on multipool the last few days that has only been fixed. Sorry I can't add those details currently, coins/mh etc all change constantly as does the source coin and bitstar coin price so no mater what I output will be wrong, payouts will always vary and I always try to do the best to maximise coins for miners. First of all sorry that the post sounded bitter did not really mean to. As for the feature coins/mh I meant after payment been done to be able to compare the rounds, something similar to what blackcoinpool has. Anyway this is all just wishful thinking and I am super happy for how things are moving along and I hope you get a chance to have a rest soon.

No problem, I'll look into upgrading it once the wallet features are done.

Folks, I'm having a wallet problem. I had a power outage that put me, currently, 320 blocks behind. What's happening is I keep getting a certain block - received block 934da3546eb9235ba562
Then I see the following error:
ERROR: ProcessBlock() : block with too little proof-of-stake
Then, whatever wallet sent the block is disconnected - like this: Misbehaving: 178.62.51.143:44914 (0 -> 100) DISCONNECTING disconnecting node 178.62.51.143:44914 disconnecting node 178.62.51.143:44914 The block explorer says it's a valid block. My wallet keeps saying it's invalid and disconnects me from the node. Any ideas?

people, if you currently dont get stake, few reason might be:
- your weight is not height enough ( yes, currently it seems that networkweight is lower then wallet weight, wonder how that will be after 185k ) - stake modifier interval is too high. this is fixed in the code according to dev, comes in effect @185k. - there is no guarantee that you will stake every 24 hours. - make sure you are on latest wallet
note that this doesnt effect the number of coins you would effectively get since coinage doesnt change if you dont stake.
the stake reward amount is a ( linear ) function of coinage. so when it doesnt stake at 1 day, but at 2 days, you would effectively get 2x 1day stake.

Dev - Just curious, will your main highlight feature be source code copy proof (or very difficult) still? Please add https://crypto-trade.com/voting to the OP Vote list.

Yeah, that's not going to happen. You don't get to demand to be told anything just because you bought some coins. If, however, you wish to ask a technical question related to the existing features of the Bitstar wallet, then go ahead.

Looks like three blocks in rapid succession just as I lost connection. I'm betting that my wallet had those three blocks in the block chain and decided they were good, but they did not, for whatever reason, broadcast out to the other nodes (or if they did they were not accepted.) Prior to reloading the block chain they looked like this: Stake - 0 confirm Stake - 1 confirm Stake - 1 confirm So they had started to get confirmed. Then, after reloading the blockchain from my other wallet, they all showed as orphaned. I think my wallet still viewed those staked blocks as the best blockchain even though the network clearly did not agree. That's why it considered other nodes as misbehaving - they did not contain those blocks that my wallet felt were the best candidate for continuing the chain. Not sure if this makes sense or not, but it's the best assumption I can come up with.

OK, we've decided to run the wallet update in 2 stages
Stage 1: In the next 1-2 days - Mandatory maintenance update for security
Stage 2: Shortly after - Optional update for new services tab and features
That's the status as it currently stands. I'm sure Dev is hard at work developing stage 2. Just give it time since he has his personal life also.

Hi,
Sorry for the delay, we found some issues when we tested the system so we're working on them now, hoping to release the update in the next few days.
Once we do, we'll also announce the next stage of our plans.
