I could put the large buy walls back but there is little point. It served a purpose for ensuring that some stability could be restored for the period that the dev team were starting to announce project plans and progression, but I don't think there is anything to be gained by doing so again.

You'll see the the volumes being traded across the price bands are exceedingly small, simply because most people don't want to sell their coins from this intriguing project. It is something of an enigma so far, as I'm sure most of the hodlers who have been here since April would agree.

A low-key team who, just when you think nothing is happening around here, quietly drop in updates and improvements and mention along the way of some interesting new functionality being rolled out.

When the upgrade comes remember this, the value will come from it being used.

Put it back up, price is ~150 now, not good.

I'm wondering about the dumping going on. Someone did 50000 at 152. Crazy as this was 750 - 1000 only a week ago.

Perhaps some people hoping to shake the tree?

The really big orders at such a low price suggest to me someone is trying to get some cheap coin. Sell down to low and hope people sell into the panic while you get more cheap coins.

The price today is a reflection of just how little it takes to change the market due to the lack of sellers. There is no need to put in a buy wall unless you are actually asking to cash out at 600 Sats. Just because it's low now, it does not hold true that it will remain that way for long.

Coins that are dying in the markets generally have massive sell walls all the way up from people desperate to offload their bags. This is not, nor has it ever been, the case for BITS.

Youre wrong... this is someone who lost trust in this project... crypto is all about the quick buck these days... dev postponed new release... after that the price crashed... people are taking profit/losses and move on too the next coin wich could make them a quick buck

I'm not worried at all about those tiny dumps and big price fluctuations right now.
I'm just annoyed that I missed out on cheap BITS! My buy order was at 150 sat!

It's seemingly dead times like these that you later regret not buying more... Tongue
(Especially when you know the devs are working quietly in the background)

Pretty much sums up how I feel as well. Dirty I missed the cheapness but not worried.

I've seen many times where a coin like this goes up over 1000-10000% upon announcing something unique.
One example is Supercoin that I bought at 150-300 sat and it went to 16k sat a month later. I sold at 14k. Tongue

Excellent point. In that sense alone Bitstar is unusual. It seems that most of the people who have Bitstar like it, and are holding it.

I am disappointed in the slide of course, I had hoped that about 1k sat (give or take a bit) was going to be the new floor for Bitstar. It's certainly worth that just as it is. That said, it is an opportunity to pick up more from those who aren't interested in the long term.

I have only 6K and i receive POS every day (or almost) and many times a day (small quantity)... if u have 69K would be crazy Wink i think u need to check if u have the last wallet, maybe download the blockchain again, etc because it is for sure not the coin who have the problem. And as i say, dont have so many

As I have said a few times, POS was running slow, please remember we started off with 21 day min stake, the last update was to block invalid forks and to make staking run faster and this morning we passed the fork block so it will now start staking more often.

It may take a few more days for everybody to get to full speed.

it was expected to have some anomaly round the switch but it was also expected to correct itself.

Yes. I've been receiving my stakes as it got closer to the 185k block, so I don't think this will be an issue in the future.

Any news with the updates?  Grin

I think you shouldn't be worried. I had my stake issues also earlier in this thread. After I started to receive my stake in 9 days periods and I calculated for that years intrest rate and was pleased to see it  matched with 35%. So it takes a bit longer for some of us but its same for all. Lets see how things grow for new stake update taking network on coming days.
