To avoid too many suckpuppets and bring more serious users. The giveaway is very large amount and you don't want one person sign up for too many shares. 0.0001 and even 0.001 are almost free and are not big deal. Because it is a hassle to do so, it can prevent many suckpuppets.

I guess that because NFD wants to give each user a decent and large amount of coins for free or almost free, NFD wants more serious users to participate.

Have you thought about keeping some coins for the bounties for marketing , nodes, exchanges, future development and maintenance, and many other things? I hope that if the >1 btc category will not be fully purchased you can keep the leftover for bounties.

No portion of the distribution will go towords the bounties.

If there are leftover funds from the categories, than they will go to bounties. I will send them to a treasurer decided by the community.
If there are no remaining funds after the IPO, I will personally pay the bounties in BTC with the IPO money.
When the IPO is finished, the community needs to start a donation fund, where people can donate a % of their holdings, so that projects can be paid and marketing be done.

Please don't forget, that this coin will be only as successful as the community behind it is active. Right after the launch, the community must elect a comitee and a treasurer. There needs to be a good concept for this coin, so that it can thrive!

Second and third category are limited yes! So if you invest 0.1 BTC in cat.2 and 1 BTC in cat.3 then you get maybe 50M NFD if there are many investors.

But in category 4 there is no cap. You could send 21'000'000 Bitcoins to the address, then you would get much NFD, but still you CAN'T GET MORE THEN 100'000'000 NFD.

I never meant that you can get 100 million, what I meant was, that you can't get more than 100 M. Under no circumstances. Not even if you send 1 million BTC
