Just looking at the device they're selling... I think it *is* a Raspberry Pi. The outputs are identical to my B+ model. So it looks like they're just adding a case with a sticker on it and some (probably) open source software on top.

best way to counter it is to have some easy to follow howto guide
and the software packages so people can create a own staking mini-computer with a rasperry pi2

For any true investor with questions on DMD cloud mining - it is not a scam.  It is not even tied to the coin.  It is a voluntary investment into converting BTC to DMD with separate funds.  I can attest to the fact that it does work and over time pays a nice DMD dividend.  If anyone is interested to see some history on my account I will pm you the DMD address and show you my total invested and returned to date.
