Anyone have issues unlocking the wallet for staking? It's not working for me.

Even though I unlock the wallet, it still says "Locked" and that I don't have any mature coins.

i unlocked mine by deselecting the 'minting only' option. Seems to work after that

After you unlock your wallet (option For mining only), it should be synchronized with the network and in the lower right corner of the icon with the image DMD will change its color from gray to blue.

more details and the full whitepaper will be presented on 13.july
open the testnet before that date would destroy any surprise

You need minimum 9 day for that. If you have coins older than 9 days then the icon will turn to blue and says "Minting."

How is the static reward calculated?

static means each block have same blockreward the blockrewards is split between MN and POS
how high the blockreward is u can estimate via the per month coinrollout as we did release a picture already
divided by the blocks of that month

but u miss some infos like percentage split of reward between MN and POS
and the blocktime

and this infos are even if we already relativ sure about the values
part of the whitepaper release

This is logical, since as soon as we move to a pure POS, each launched wallet will be equated to a normal POW mining farm.
This is the part of the process that serves transactions on the network.
And the more active wallets in the network, the safer and more reliable the network.

It seems the race for Diamonds has started. As we have discussed it here for the last 2 years, this is just the beginning. I would not be surprised to see $5 per DMD at some point.

Make sure to try to squeeze every single DMD from your purchases. Do not just buy up cause you can get much more if you buy smart, chunk by chunk.
Also, do not forget to take advantage of DMD cloudmining shares and DMD mining while it s still available. Once more, DMD PoW mining will be removed with the introduction of masternodes which will make supply even more limited.
