I am trying to mine dmd to a proof of stake wallet at ispace, with my gridseed orb and I think I messed up.  I tried to pay with bcc through shifty and accidently sent to the btc wallet that was created with my dmd address.  To top it off ispace had some issues and didn't show my dmd wallet suddenly and made me create a new one.  How do I sort this out or have I lost my bcc?   I have a record of all addresses.

And another thing.  I don't know how to send a message from POS wallet at ispace.  This probably should be crossposted somehow to an ispace thread but I don't know how to do that either.

I am new to mining.

So, I got PUNISHED this week by the demise of XIOS.
As I've said before, pick your investments wisely (more so than I, apparently).

As a pleasant aside - I'm still heavily invested in DMD and it just sits there reliably earning as it has for over 3yrs.
I sometimes miss the days of 2DMD blocks and mining with my (4) 7990s, but, things change.

As it stands, my DMD are earning more than ever have by just sitting there in my wallet on a RPi3 using less power than a 40w light bulb.

Mining is a futile endeavor and will completely die when ETH cuts-over to PoS.

well the devs say it always over and over again, "this has been around for years" dmd is a solid coin, with new mn gems you can make huge gainz or get rekt. i think investors (specially big ones) will see the value in safer and tested projects like diamond

Hey guys,

DMD Diamond s about to start a small signature campaign and we would like to select and reward 4 members of our great community to be part of this project.
This campaign will last for 6 months with possibility or permanent extension, depending on the feedback we get from it.

Please do not apply for this campaign unless you usually spend time on Bitcointalk on a daily basis and post a lot since I would really hate to exclude participants for not following the rules.

Here are the rules:

1)      DMD Signature campaign will be open for Senior,  Hero and Legendary Bitcointalk ranks only.

2)      Bitcointalk account with negative reputation are not allowed to apply.

3)      Participants need to wear DMD signature all the time, no other link is allowed to be in their signature.

4)      Participants are required to post minimum 3 posts per day (90 posts per month minimum), exclusively on Bitcointalk forum, out of which minimum 1 post per day needs to be related to DMD (mention DMD Diamond in some way) and this DMD related post must not be posted on the official DMD Bitcointalk thread. - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=580725.0
In case you are not able to post your posts on any given day, you can do it the next day or any other day as long as your monthly sum is no less than 90 posts out of which 30 must be DMD related.

5)      Post in “Other” subsection (Meta, Politics and Society, Beginners&Help, Off-topic, Archival threads) do not count towards daily 3 posts requirement.
Please make sure to post on threads which are relevant to DMD, for example, “where to invest”, “cloudmining”, “PoS and masternode related threads”. This is not a strict rule as you can posts and get paid for posting on whatever topic you find interesting, excluding “Other” subsection, but threads related to DMD bring more people to the community and we all benefit from this.

6)      All posts need to be of high quality, they need to be informational and related to the thread topic. No posts containing single word (example: Yes, No, Great! Etc), no posts containing just 1 sentence. (example:+1 What a great post!). Please do not try to cheat the system, I will be watching.

7)      Participants will be paid $150 per month in DMD, at the end of the month. Selected participants need to submit 1 DMD address for payments which is not allowed to be changed as long as members participate into this project.

7.1)      In case a participant decided to leave DMD signature campaign, they can do that only at the end of the month after they get paid. If a participant decides to quit any time during the month, they will not be paid for that month.

If you satisfy required criteria and listed requirements seem acceptable for you, please PM me. DMD Diamond team will select 4 people based on their post quality, account reputation and time of application. Once again, evaluate your free time and posting habits. I DO NOT WANT TO BE FORCED TO EXCLUDE PEOPLE FOR NOT FOLLOWING THESE RULES. Please do not make me so.

Cheers!

Export private key worked in all versions of wallets DMD.
You waited 4 years for this moment?
Just curious why you didn't wanted get your POS income.
if you need old wallet DMDv2.0 (for extracted from the file wallet.dat private key), then you can download it here https://github.com/DMDcoin/Diamond/releases

Thanks for the reminder about the private keys.  At the time DMD was released lots of other alt coins were being released too  anoncoin, frankcoin, fastcoin, earthcoin..... etc. So at the time I mined them all then backed up each of the wallet.dat files, Then I gave up on altcoins. Now 4 years later I going through each of them to see whats alive.

Anyways after a refresher course, I have exported the private keys to each address in the wallet.dat file and imported the private keys into wallet 3.0 and all is good now. I had totally forgotten how cryptos work.

Will now also backup private keys as well keeping the wallet.dat from now on.

So I'm not sure what happened, but something happened... Any information would be greatly appreciated.

- Have been running wallet straight except for unexpected restart Wednesday thanks to Windows 10 update...
- Wallet is unlocked for staking, do not have enough for masternode.
- Yesterday all was well and have not had any power loss since Wednesday
- Latest version of wallet
- Not mixing

I bought a small amount of diamonds October 5th and transferred to wallet.
Same day, prior to the purchase, I generated an orphan block and have not had anything mint since.
I was already holding and staking diamonds.

Today, the diamonds I bought a month ago are showing as available.
The rest of my diamonds are showing as immature
Zero are pending
The total reflects the sum of the two.
I can still see the orphan block in the transactions, but it obviously doesn't count toward anything

Any thoughts?

When your Diamonds stake, they get immature for about a day until they can stake again. So, I guess you have had a successful stake of your coin pile. Congrats!
