I just d/l  the qt exe file only. Opened it and everything looks good (balance, staking active and version 3.0.1.0)
That was pretty painless.

wait until sync is finished and 2 more min
unlock for staking

please keep in mind if u run remote masternodes on some linux VPS u need to downloade source and compile the headless wallets again

for my ubuntu 14.04 and 16.04 nodes this script works well to compile new headless wallet
once u have all depencies already

The Mac Version 3.0.1.0 Diamond V3 is crashing. It doesn't load the splash screen. Any ideas? It doesn't even install/show the directories where the wallet.dat, diamond.conf, masternode.conf are located. It seems to be crashing before its being installed. I reinstalled the older version v3.0.0.13-43baca2 and it works fine.

Anybody having similar issues with the New MAC version 3.0.1.0?

Hi ther is any POS calculator for DMD or how much I will get from 100 DMD weekly?

I don't know if there is a calculator, but math is (in theory) simple, pos reward for some more time will be 5% (slowly decreasing...) so 100 DMD * 5% = 5 DMD gained in one year, pos reward now is of 0.8224896 DMD so 5 / 0.822... = 6 stake in one year so means 1 every two months, that with luck you can find 2 blocks in 2 week or nothing for 3 months...

that answer is a bit to pesimistic

POS rewards estimate to decrease slowly from ~20% towards ~5% in 2020 and 1% in 2027

so 100 DMD will find on average one POS block every 20 days if u run wallet 24/7
and the yearly result for 2018 should be  over 15%

Ouch yes i took the end percent, now we are at 20% sorry made a mistake.

I downloaded only the executable file, replace the previous version, deleted everything in my data dir (except the wallet.dat and the .conf files) and everything went smoothly.

It took a while to sync the full blockchain but at least I'm sure I'm on the right one.

Was an 11BTC wall yesterday at 78k sats, not 7BTC but price has risen alot since then

The same thing happened last time DMD went to around 70-80k....just huge buy walls come from nowhere...someone out there won't let the price of DMD get very low
