Before i reveal the story about monero scam on alphabay and their admins involvements get ready for heavy dumping on monero price before the ending of September!!!
Heavy dumping starts already, we may see monero with much lower price than now, 0.008 btc |

Been off the scene for about 6 months months. Bought XMR over last few years that have gone up a lot since I last checked in. WTF happened? I see a lot of Monero exposed/scam comments in recent posts??? Is there a good reputable summary anywhere to explain what I missed/happened?

In short, several darkmarkets, including AlphaBay and Oasis, decided to use Monero in addition to Bitcoin on their sites starting on or around September 01. The darknet email service SIGAINT also endorsed Monero over other privacy-centric coins and also said it was operating a Monero TOR relay. Those are people who depend on having private and untraceable currency, and they chose Monero. As for the scam comments, nothing substantive has been produced. It's just FUD. |

Maybe you should first tell us about your DASH holdings and frustrations with Monero passing it up. I think in there you will find the real scam.  |

I would say the same. I see no problem with XMR, going down a bit because BTC is up.

+1. Every time Bitcoin goes up all the alts go down.... ... For a short amount of time anyway. (They don't stay down, that's for sure!) |

I think that they could use some more volume there, currently there are only a few bids and asks out of the current price range and not a lot of activity.

I had to speak now with support of https://anycoindirect.eu/en (allows you to sell/buy some coins with a lot of payment systems directly in Euros), and I asked at the end of conversation if they plan to add Monero : " Yes, we are working on the integration. We expect to launch XMR trading next week or early the week after. When we launch XMR trading we will announce this on our website and social media." It's a great site, with great customer support, I have worked with them for quite a long time. |

Heavy dumping starts already, we may see monero with much lower price than now, 0.008 btc At first I think monero pump and dump. Now monero demand is fantastic at the level of Eth. XMR is major alt-coin, Eth Xmr Though I support Dash, Xmr is real winner and become Btc partner like Eth. |
