I know that this nice cat made you sick, but he is amazing. And that guy who decided to call it Luke is a freaking genius.

Inflation dude.

More Monero is being mined than the market can support.  It's a problem that won't go away.

Yep, that's what I talked about yesterday. We should probably let the coin cool down a bit by investing into other CN coins, thus increasing the market for the technology, not a particular currency.

Right now miners are mining more USD per day for Litecoin than for Monero. $315,000 vs $60,000

Sure, if Monero was the size of Litecoin it would be an issue. However remember that right now you are buying an opportunity, as the inflation is being reduced every week. Soon we'll drop below 16 XMR per block and it'll never return. This thing will become rare fast.

The problem will go away. By the time we are the age of Litecoin now, inflation will be trailing off fast. We can easily sustain a higher price if we can truly compete for second place.

And if the price keeps around $2 XMR, then use this time to buy more, right?

If Monero is here in two years, and we are closing in on second place, you'll never see $2 XMR again.

Anyway, I don't mind scared miners selling, it's a good opportunity.

So thank you, sell it all. Smiley

Yeah, well, the same lines about catching up to Litecoin can be said about every other CN coin, yet Monero is the only one that's fluctuating wildly because of these FUD attacks.

Also I didn't say anything about selling.

The continued lifting of Monero to new heights in the voting list is inspirational!

To support your loyal community we decided to create an original and recognizable image. It needs a name, and it's up to you to come up with something suitably memorable for the guy! Grin
Monero is now in the top 10 and your active voting will most likely put it in the lead sooner or later.

Did you make this from scratch? Can you provide source files? Looks awesome, this could really be a great mascot. +1 for naming it "Luke".

It has been a pleasure for us to look at how you've all picked a name for the Monero Mascot, it was really inspiring. We are very glad that you liked our present.
We all witnessed the birth of Luke the Moonshot and as any other coin now he aims for the Moon. And we hope that Monero's appearence on the Hitbtc exchange will be a giant leap towards that goal  Cheesy

As you know Dogecoin has already secured its place on HitBtc through active participation of the community. Now Monero also has a chance to get there too.

Keep supporting Monero! Sign in and increase your votes weight tenfold  Wink

Thanks, but I was thinking more like .psd files or whatever you use. Do you draw these yourself or did you hire a designer ?
