Here is the Bittrex response to my request. He said my request has been solved by this response:

"Thanks for the request. Our policy is to not comment on whether we will launch coins but we mainly add coins due to community demand.

We gauge demand based off of tweets, hash power, length of bitcointalk thread, volume on other exchanges, etc. Follow us on twitter @bittrexexchange and tweet about how much you like this coin and Bittrex. We respond to creative and insightful posts to help market your favorite coins and Bittrex. I'd also consider coming to our irc channel #bittrex on irc.freenode.net and do some guerrilla marketing. The traders there can help you gain exposure for your coin."

I think that they will list a coin for 5 BTC. Is it worth it to you?

Faucet not found on the server:
Code:
Not Found

The requested URL /faucet was not found on this server.
Apache/2.4.6 (Ubuntu) Server at faucet.jackpotcoin.info Port 80

Looks like dev has closed faucet...

About exchanges - it's not necessary to be on Bittrex. We just need a working exchange. Let it be something like Allcrypt was. Maybe there is a chance to add JPC to Poloniex, SwissCex, C-Cex?.. Coin without any exchange at this stage will be dead in less than a month... Sad Everybody will leave it...

Dev, what about update to the wallet? We really need to speed it up!

Exchanges no longer want this coin. It used up too much system resource and there is not enough trading in coin to make it worth their while. Until a Developer comes along that can reduce the bloatware in the QT, this coin is dead. I keep repeating myself but no ones listens to this reality. I am a large bagholder of this coin and believe me there is nothing I would rather see than this coin get fixed.

Hey guys,
I agree with you but I told you I can no longer spend time on this for a while, so if you want to take over, let me know. Note that I won't let anyone take over just because they ask, I need to see both motivation and competence in candidates.
Also, the reason I haven't given up yet is I'm a dev but not a C++ one, and quite justly I'm learning C++ and Qt. So, it might be that at some time, I become the new dev, however, there's no guarantee it happens, given the difficulty.
What would be good is, as a community, you contact new exchanges, and ask them to add JPC. If there's no community effort, what the coin is worth for anyway?

Thank you, Litoshi, very much! Smiley

Still believe that JPC will be popular in the nearest future again! Smiley Still holding my little bag of >1mil JPC Smiley
And by the way, it's great time for solo miners - diff so low, and block reward still quite big - 338.139187JPC! And don't forget the Jackpot, that at the moment is almost 17kJPC Smiley

Just submitted new coin request to Poloniex: https://www.poloniex.com/coinRequest. This exchange seems much better than it was a year ago Smiley Also I like their policy on coins... Please, everyone, submit a request too - we really need a "real" exchange. Don't know your opinion, but I don't really trust CCnex and AskCoin...

p.s. dev: we really really need some speedup of the QT...

Could someone please upload the latest blockchain.dat.  I'm almost 3 months behind and could take weeks for me to sync from there.

I can donate some JPC if needed.

Also we can vote for JPC at Bter. 53th place at the moment.

Looks like there are 2 of them left:
askcoin.net
ccnex.com

And looks like there is no working block explorer left, only built in the QT...

last trade on askcoin was @ January 15th Oo
and as I wrote earlier, ccnex looks just strange.

It's a shame that the jpcpal explorer does not work anymore, it was a pretty nice one.

Hi everyone,

I submitted JackpotCoin to C-cex voting page. It doesn't need a lot to get listed it seems.
It should appear in this list soon
https://c-cex.com/?id=vote

As for the block explorer, here is a potential solution
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/
From what I got, they ask for a recurring fee (I didn't ask how much yet).

If we get that working, we could be back on CoinmarketCap...

I think the most important part is fixing the massive cpu load. Exchanges don't like to spend one vserve just for one coin, neither does anyone else ^^

And that is the single most important reason that this coin has failed. Too much time has been spent trying to get it listed, adding new bells and whistles aka polishing a turd. No matter how shiny it is still a turd. Coin has potential but until the bloat is fixed it will remain in the state of fail.
