trying to work with the other guys here to work together but this one guy is being patronizing..

he should know i have made and shared a Quark miner that was FAR faster than many others a year ago almost
and done much more since.. but i am getting nooby lectures lol
i guess this guy has a bad memory even though we talked like 30+ times about coding work on Quark for example last year lol
playing dumb and ignoring me  Roll Eyes

let these guys do it then.. what do i know ?
i'm out.
my shit rocks and i got what i need ..so what ever lol

ignoring me ? lol

edit:
it's funny i posted a FASTER pic and you responded to the guy who provided little info on a slower miner LOL
i have been making miner mods before Quark was released Wink

and 64bit ?

oh well eat my shit..

I think it is great you optimized and developed a better miner. Though some people seem to enjoy watching the world burn, I'm sure all of us here would greatly appreciate a more efficient miner.

i have tried lots to talk about building the miner here and no matter what i am ignored..

i mentioned for example that i couldn't build it as is many times and i had to do a lot of modding to get it to build at all.

i *thought my dev environment was ok but it may be borked lol ..MingW is a bitch Sad
i just tried making a build optimized for my AMD cpu that supports up to SSE4a and every build crashes like i used instructions unsupported
like i had launched an AVX build on my old cpu etc..

my building on Win64 was working ok so i dunno looking at stuff and redoing things etc and i have always had issues reconfiguring MingW for x86 after using x64.

there is no one way to do this stuff, guys use diff cpuminer versions source code bases and i ported cpuminer 2.33 files to JPC's code base (it was using 2.3.2)
because it was throwing me LibCurl errors.. no one else mentioned this so i dunno, but i have gotten that error on other code bases such as
one notorious build of quark's cpu miner no one could seem to build back then (but i did)

this isn't the best topic for this kind of talk i know though Wink

ughhh way too much crap to do dealing with dev environments to get any coding done, never mind life itself lol
Ming is pos bitch lol ..it has caused me waaay more trouble than VS ever has i think.. ohhh Linux i love you so much ..not lol

edit:
one last comment on this... i will pack up and share quick what i built that should be working fine i have been running it for ages on my Intel i7 cpu.
I made a build for the following (all x64)
SSE2
SSE4 (compiler makes SSE3 same as SSE4)
SSE4a
and lastly the one i am using and tested a lot compiled with "Native" so it should be AVX etc for the Intel 4770k Haswell

download link (x64 only windows)
NO source code changes in any way i left it ALL stock except modded some for the files needed fr compiling. (was going to throw in my color console mod code soon)
http://www.multiupload.nl/CLT6FUX4OB

PS: let me know if the other guys build is faster Wink
i may have to start using his instead lol

Bounties 1.5M for a better new logo. 2M for an wallet icon set consistent with the new logo.

Reminder, 3 first working pools will receive 2M each.

I'm not terribly good at design but how about this for a new logo:

Quote

The center is like an LED display, it would be neat if someone could animate text going across like the jackpot amount.

Nice logo, but I think there are too many small things there, when it is scale down, will be messy. I'd prefer a logo simpler.

Agreed! I had an idea that I was hoping to get some feedback, would it be difficult to implement the current jackpot total into the wallet interface? I personally would find that a nice feature to be able to see the current jackpot price every time I opened my wallet. Just a thought..  Roll Eyes

Yes I'd prefer a neutral color like blue or green

Agreed! I had an idea that I was hoping to get some feedback, would it be difficult to implement the current jackpot total into the wallet interface? I personally would find that a nice feature to be able to see the current jackpot price every time I opened my wallet. Just a thought..  Roll Eyes

It is already there, open a console (Help->debug window->console) and type "getcurrentjackpot", you see the current jackpot size.

optimized cpu miner get more than 320k ))
i7-4770 6 threads
http://clip2net.com/clip/m0/1398976718-clip-12kb.png?nocache=1

i have same and it's doing 490kh/s avg on my 4770k with 6 threads with my own optimized 64bit compile (stock cpu / no overclock)
did you compile for x86 ?

my older AMD Phenom X4 9950 "BE Edition" (OC'd a bit) is only 80kh/s using the miner OP posted with 4/4 threads used.
i need to make a compiled build for it but i've been busy Sad

edit:

here is a pic and it usually is a little more than 490kh/s using 6 of 8 threads but i have a LOT of crap running lol

also we should do up a set of optimized builds for the public too and share them Smiley

Really good job,
we hope you can share with the other people,
Hope to see your repo,
