I am unable to get V2.4.2 to run. In fact, v2.4.0 wont run, either (?). Version 2.3.1 runs fine. What am I missing? I run a robust windows 7 machine. Any help would be appreciated! Love to give SFRPay a shot!

You need to redownload the blockchain for the wallet after hardfork.
Delete all except wallet.dat in your roaming/saffroncoin folder.

See, that's just it- I don't have a file for Saffron in my appData/Roaming folder! I've looked everywhere- I run most of my wallets on a separate derive, but all my wallet folders with their wallet.dat files are in my /roaming folder on my main drive. All except for Saffron. No saffron, no SFR. It's always been that way with my Saffron wallets- I mentioned it to the DEV before upgrading to V2.4, so I could back the dang .dat file up, but I threw my coins on an exchange and then did the upgrade, and it went without a hitch, but now it will not run- opens and crashes. Same with V2.4.2.

The file has to be somewhere because it is loading. The first time you start the wallet without having any blockchain or the Saffroncoin folder, you would be prompted the location to store the blockchain. Probably the first time you used this wallet, you would have chosen a location apart from the default location. Your blockchain would be stored on your custom location. You can try the classic version 1.3.4 and see if that works.

Ahh- finally found (my original Saffron ) folder. Thanks, DEV, for the initiative- since you mentioned it, I do remember picking an alternative location on a secondary drive to host the wallet. I deleted everything within that folder except the /blocks folder and my .dat file from there, and moved those off to the desktop. Ran V2.4.2, let it load, and shut it down. I then replaced the /blocks folder from the new wallet with the /blocks folder from my last (V2.3.1) wallet, and wa-la- success!
Thanks again.

Are we sure that blockchain problems have been resolved? Cryptsy was frozen all day yesterday. I made a withdrawal after it was unfrozen. The coins never came. I check the transaction ID with the blockchain

33dfaf69385a7d292bb99ea09a6dbb24e7148b4b6a566ccdced11ad5a8025044

There is no record of this transaction on the blockchain. Are we sure Cryptsy is on the right fork? They were down as Bittrex was but no one commented on it. I am also writing Cryptsy.

People have been gobbling up SFR in the last couple hours. On the climb, as we all new Saffron would be (and should be)! I don't know when you developers manage to sleep! Great, great work.

I really like what the dev team has shown so far and all the upcoming features looks very good. This coin is very under valued for whatever reason.

Got reply from Cryptsy. They found the transaction. They are using the following blockchain explorer.

http://188.226.165.184/saffron/block_crawler.php

The transaction is there. Is this the right fork? I dont think so.

No that is not the right fork.
Explorer.saffroncoin.com is the correct explorer.

Do tell cryptsy that they need to update to V1.3.4 and resync the blockchain to be on the correct fork.

Looks like mining is being dominated by ASICs. This maybe good for the network but not for me. I have to mine another coin in order to buy Saffron. I mine X11 because of the heat. Will get ASIC soon.

Speaking of another coin. A multipool might solve this problem and bring other added benefits.

I share it to get ride of the errors before users Wink.

This error is caused because the makefile is not present in the multitasking version.
I have to compile libleveldb.a and libmemenv.a from the classic sources, like Dev said, and copy those files to the src/leveldb of the multitasking wallet sources.
