Is there a mobile wallet for NXT ?

Yes. Access through you mobile browser:

https://wallet.mynxt.info/

https://nxtblocks.info/ (front page)

Try both, let us know how you get on

Hm thanks. But its risky giving away the passphrase to a third party, isn't it  ?  But its ok to have some small amounts for paymant there...

Is there something like a litewallet under development ?

http://jnxt.org/vapor/

You can save the page and use it offline too.

And yes, NxtLite is under development
https://nxtforum.org/general-discussion/(ann)-nxtlite/

I like the announcement of NxtLite this will help a lot to ease of access the assets . I am investing large amount in Nxt instead of Crypro is unstable so tiny part is for crypto at the moment.

Pretty much all my crypto portfolio is in NXT, i dont see any other way forward currently.

Shouldnt put all your eggs in one basket!

...not putting nxt down, but just saying you should diversify your portfolio more.

I do agree, i do hold a NEMstake also!
but what other options are there?
I do have some megacoin and thats about it.

i really dunno what to think about DRK, LTC, Blackcoin, bitshares, dogecoin etc.

http://coinmarketcap.com/

watch and read about different coins. I think its pretty much a crap shoot, but I hold like 50-60 different coins.  Alot of pumps, watch the pumps and make a strategy to make some money.  I really do like nxt too.

Yeah, alot of them are pumps, its knowing when the right time is to dump, ive been burned before, thats why i chose the more safer option of NXT, i know i wont get a quick return, but there is less risk.

Very nice, so this means that we get all these functions in 1 wallet?

Great. thats the 1 thing I was really missing in the client.

The ability to handle all additions to NXT in 1 place, great work.

Can you store stuff in aliases and have it preserve capital or small letters? When I try it always converts all characters to either uppercase or lowercase. I'm using "data" aliases.

I can base32 encode the stuff I want to put in aliases but it's one extra thing I'd rather not have to deal with.

Yeah, just checked, upper case does work and stay in aliases, they store 1000 bytes max, so whatever you can fit into 1000 bytes is fair game.

Just in 21 hours we will try to connect students at the University of Economics in Prague to you, Nxters, via video conference, google hangout.

https://nxtforum.org/nxt-projects/university-of-economics-in-prague-nxt-project/msg163836/#msg163836

UPDATE 12th February:
The anounced video-conference will take place on Monday 23rd February at 8PM CET. Beside the participants of our project, also the students of my course concerning cryptocurrencies will be present as audience. It would be a delight practical experience for them to be able to speak to you, Nxt developers and professionals. If you feel like joining the video-conference, please contact Salsacz. I'm looking forward to your participation.
The project with students will be finished on Tuesday 24th. If you feel like rewarding the presenting participants and the participants who have anyhow earned the most Nxts during the project with a symbolic amount on Nxt, you can either send Nxt to the project's wallet or I can give you directly their wallets (under their consent, naturally).
Thank you for reading and if you had any questions, feel free to ask.

It all started during this speech: http://nxtacademy.com/lesson/nxt-new-cryptocurrency-trends-2/ (turn on the english subtitles)

Let's hope we will solve all technical issues. I have got few confirmed Nxters for the live-audience, others can still contact me and I will send you invitation. Others should be able to watch the stream on Youtube, if all goes well.

Time of the video-conference: 23rd February 2015, 8pm CET (20:00-22:00), = 7pm GMT.

Thanks  Smiley

Those wallets don't store or know your password. Everything is done client side in the browser.

trade.secureae.com is another, while it emphasizes the AE, you can still do simple sends as well.

If you want to trade then keep coins on exchanges otherwise keep them in wallet as they are safe and in your hands all the times.

I thought they still store your wallet backups, just in an encrypted way.

I also wonder why NXT still don't have a litewallet. I'd definitely use it if there is any one available.

yes, the encrypted version of your wallet is stored on their servers. But, the password used to encrypt it isn't known.

There are two light NXT wallets.

https://github.com/jonesnxt/jaywallet (still early days)

Actually, I think there is another one that is further along, but I can't find it.

(DOH! NxtLite) the message above me beat me to that one.
