Suppose you buy NXT today - you will get 74 days of Ardor snapshots, this is approximately 82% Ardor to your NXT balance. Very simple, you buy today 100 NXT and hold till October 12th, you will receive 82 Ardor. Those who bought NXT before July 14th will receive 100 Ardor for 100 NXT. Hope my explanation makes sense. The longer you wait to buy NXT, the fewer Ardor tokens you will receive.

Thank you for the info. What do you mean by snapshots? I have my coins in exchange, bought on 12 July. Do I need to take any action like sending those to web wallet or simply I get Ardor even if I keep NXT on exchange? And what will happen if I send my coins to wallet now from exchange?
