For you information: wallet.mynxt.info isn't the official Nxt Client which is developed by the core developers. It's a third-party project which makes it easy for people to use Nxt in a online interface. To experience the real beauty of Nxt, the best (and safest) thing to do is to download Nxt: https://nxt.org/download

Enjoy!  Smiley

I don't really understand the article. Is Nxt going to be used for blockchain voting testing again?

FYI, newcomers!
You can mine NXT in the Lucky node project.
Computational and bandwidth requirements are very low - some users run it on a Raspberry Pi.
Run the node 24/7 or as often as you can while you work or play.
Join in with the over 100 nodes that are already in the project.

NXT will run for at least until Q3 2018, probably longer.

The blockchain is roughly 2 GB, but you shouldn't download it from scratch on Raspberri Pi, initial sync with Raspberri will take a long time. If you copy the blockchain from other computer and start from there Raspberri Pi has no problem keeping up with the network. Download from peerexplorer.com

And it will be much better with Ardor! Scalabilty is one of the key features of Ardor/IGNIS. We can be one of the first blockchains who addressed the issue. We have a headstart!  Smiley
