There is even Youtube clip where Overstock CEO mentions Nxt

Now that sounds too good to be true.  Does anyone have a link?

I just read something pretty fantastic in the XCP thread.  Overstock may issue shares on a Bitcoin 2.0 platform:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=395761.msg6928049#msg6928049

The next post says Overstock has actually talked to NXT about this???

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=395761.msg6928481#msg6928481

Is this true?

Yes, true but as  far as I know, they are talking to the lawyers and discussing legal implications. It's still unknown when/if it will happen.

There is even Youtube clip where Overstock CEO mentions Nxt

Uniqueorn (and some others?) were/are in direct contact with Patrick Byrne. They've asked us not to say too much about it until they can get a more formal commitment.

I just sent NXT to BTER and also to Dgex. So far nothing has turned up after 2 hours, i'm up to date on the client, why?

it took 5 days for my transaction to appear on bter. check blockchain and contact support
Yikes, that is scary. I just sent in some NXT about 2 hours ago and it hasn't shown up in my account yet.  I hope it doesn't take 5 days.
Probably worth pointing out that this is a bter issue and not a NXT issue.
Peace

Following up on these two posts, it has been over 24 hours now and I still haven't received my NXT on bter.  This is completely unacceptable and I will not be using this exchange again after I receive the coins.
I just sent in a ticket to them asking to look into the deposit.  Will report back with the result.

If you do choose to use Bter, my suggestion is send in your deposit and then immediately submit a ticket alerting them to the deposit.
Peace.
worked well for me.

HELP Please#

I purchased some NXT today on cryptsy, downloaded the wallet and sent the coins from cryptsy to my wallet, but they haven't arrived.

I think I may have sent them to the wrong place, on my wallet dashboard it says this : Welcome to your brand new account. You should fund it with some coins. Your account ID is: NXT-CSQ5-K2GT-FP8S-DVMFK

Do i send the coins to that address ?

And then i clicked the "Account Ballance more info" blue square and it says this : Your account is brand new. You should fund it with some coins. Your account ID is 13309961573282177731

To different ID's what do they mean, which one should i have sent my coins to, and have i lost the ones all ready sent.

Thanks guys for any help you can provide

Cheers
Mark

Thanks

I had exactly the same issue with Craptsy about one month ago.
It took me 25 days, 5 private messages to bitjohn and mullick, more then 30 tickets to their support and finally after five days i've been insulting them in their trollbox they unlocked my NXT.
Good luck man, you really need it when dealing with Craptsy!

There just two different forms of the same address. Once is the numeric ID, and one is the reed-solomon ID.

Yes. The Reed-Solomon has a checksum making it harder to use an incorrect id. However, who types in these ids?

You do copy and paste errors too.

If your address is 13309961573282177731

I am sure someone would (and already has) done something like this during copy and paste: 1330996157328217773 (missing last digit in copy and paste)

money will be lost.

RS format is still safer even if you do copy and paste

I sent 5 Nxt to NXT-CSQ5-K2GT-FP8S-DVMFK

To fully protect the account, you need to do one outgoing transaction. You can create an alias for example
