POS is in second place behind Experimental New Things and closely followed by Matt Damon.

I urge you to please please vote for POS before the time is over. It is a familiar concept with huge public appeal, there is no other quark algo coin out there that has this and it will give us a clear direction to start moving in.

If 'experimental new things' comes out on top then *we have to start debating what that new thing will be, then *we have to get it working which will take time.
Let new experimental concepts be tried on other coins controlled by the CRF, or better yet create a guinea pig coin and experiment on that.

Our all time high on Allcoin was 850 which came when DGWv3 was installed which we haven't broken since.
Let's push forward, we've made so much progress already let's not start chasing our tail now.
The forum went almost 24 hours without comment yesterday Sad

Let's keep the momentum going, let's give the other forums reason to take notice, talk about us and invest in us! Smiley

You are right that "new things" might take some time and we are currently pretty stable in value. Don't forget that we rose 10 times in value and being steady for a while is a good thing, I think.

We are actually going to use Frycoin to experiment new concepts on and those will later be applied on Quarkbar.

As Obfuscode and I said before, we don't really think POS is a solution, but it is a community coin, so if people want it, we will implement it. Smiley

Keep campaigning

@Obfuscode, could you add BitQuark (BTQ) to your pool?

I've put it on our consideration list.

The team will vote on the next meeting (usually during the Weekends).

MEETING
Any chance of a brief summary for those of us that were asleep? Smiley

Sleep? What is that?:-)

Here are the notes regarding Quarkbar:

2. Quarkbar promotion
- JonesD is promoting via Twitter and arranging a lot of giveaways. Support is growing.
- Shursight is arranging some PR articles on Quarkbar
- Saintfrantic discussed finding ways to buy goods and services with QB. f0o is already setting up a website.
- Saintfrantic would like a better looking wallet. f0o might know someone that can do it
- f0o proposes to do an airdrop where random wallets get free QB.

3. Quarkbar next steps
- We discussed ways to keep mining interesting
- POS might be a good solution, but not with the stake based on amount of coins,  but based on a fixed amount of coins for keeping wallet synched. This way people get rewarded a certain amount of coins regardless of their wallet balance.
We call it Proof of Wallet Stake (POWS)

Great stuff.
Implementing API from one of the exchanges in the wallet will be one feature I personally want to see and use. How much easier will be to trade directly in the wallet.

So it would be a sort of 'statutory income' for everyone with a wallet containing a minimum coin balance if I understand that correctly?
Sounds like a great idea if so Smiley

Yes, the amount of coins doesn't matter with the wallet synch anyway and only encourages holding the money. POWS only looks at the amount of time you synch the wallet and rewards even the people with an empty wallet. Smiley
