I have problem with sync. can i have some working nodes?

I have fucked my Raspberry PI2 node deleting some logs and restarting while it was stuck  Tongue

Will bootstrap soon from mi PI1 SD card and put it back online
Online with the PI yet?

Waiting on feedback for the investment plan and April 3 I have an important meeting for application of EnergyCoin and a sandbox project. Maybe last change to buy some cheap ENRG.

Same problem here, it seems like the blockchain is blocked.
I've 17 connections and 13 are stuck at block 1051199 and the others are at block inferior.
So nobody has passed block 1051199.
Need dev asap to check this.

Yep, I have this problem as well. I have a pi 2 and an original B model pi running wallets. They both stopped syncing at 11:04:04 AM Mar 27 2015.

Both pis have no errors on SD card and both pis have just over 10 GB remaining space. I see no hardware or other problems on my side that can contribute to this.

Edit to confirm I am stuck at the very same block as what is pictured above.

Possible fork/ Disagreement in the chain?

On two locations I download now the blockchain to see if can move it.
What posibilities are there to solve this?
I have send message to the dev and hope he can solve.
What are other options?

I dont know. I will be looking at ideas when i get home. Waiting for a bus home now.

It might help to look through the chain for the last few trasactons for clues to what went wrong.

What's the difficulty? Sometimes a big whale staking can push up the difficulty so much it takes ages to find the next block.

edit]

No, the block explorer shows the last block's difficulty was 0.031, so it can't be that.

Hope you find some indication.
It is not the BIG-whale problem, but good to know that it can be a problem.
I staked the 21M wallet 2 days ago.

Dose anyone know if it is possible to broadcast to all nodes simultaneously?  My idea is that if we could somehow tell all nodes and clients to move back a block or so that the network might rebound and simply not falter at this current block.

I know that there are a number of issues with this idea and I also know that it would seam to go against the nature of crypt currency but I think if we could simply either go back just before this block and have it reprocess or find a way to skip it all together, that might show movement. I could also see where it might make things worse though. In certain cases in other areas of computer data transmission and storage, simply bypassing bad or corrupt data can propagate the problem down the line.

Is there a way to simply tell the network to get by this?

Seems to me that recently Litecoin had been attacked by someone flooding it with extremely small transactions. They ended up bringing up the transaction fee for certain types of transactions to make such a situation more expensive then it is worth. Looking at energycoin explorer somehow makes me feel it could be a similar situation.  Then again, what I am seeing could be the result of something else.

The value out just looks wrong compared to most of the other value outs Im seeing.

@Haron thx for the analyses and research of the problem.
I hope soon we have a solution from our dev or someone else.
We are now 11 month young and I hope we can be here with EnergyCoin some more time.

Maybe someone could answer me this question but.... Why would the below happen on the Enrgy Network.

Ok, so,here is the last block that seems to be recorded. [1051200   2015-03-27 16:31:34] Now, the block we are all stuck on.[1051199   2015-03-27 15:04:04]. Notice that this last block is generated nearly 90 mins after the block we are all stuck on? Up to that point it seemed like we where generating multiple blocks just in 1 mins time.

It's like right after block 1051199 the network just stops for near 90 mins and then block 1051200 gets processed and added to the chain. I have a real need to know what really happened in that near 90 mins between blocks because thats likely where our collective shit luck began.

I examed also the stats

The Network Hashrate was in a spike and bewore it was also not constand.
Exactly on 2015-03-26 00:13:43 Hasrate began to rise. What happend after that?
Block: 1046400
Page: http://explorer.energycoin.pw/chain/EnergyCoin?hi=1046700&count=500

There are to spikes and after the last one stoped the blockshain.
After the spike it goes down to the bottom.
The spike began on here:

On 18:27:16 in block 1051011
http://explorer.energycoin.pw/block/f4a2d57669abe60cc4d98738b6aa20c098dce9b79fdadaff674128b4b11b26a8
And the spike was on 13:59:26 in block 1051100
http://explorer.energycoin.pw/block/20de5e599836548fe06f07a2eac8340a300e4a0280b5d21f0a2c1c42345fae70

Was there maybe some manipolation to crash the EnergyCoin BlockChain?
I'm for sure we can fix this!
I aked some people for help and I hope they react on my messages.

...
somebody needs to be asking these questions.

@iGotSpots Can you answer my PM I send you?

That means EnergyCoin is trying to sync with another blockchain; they most likely did not change pch numbers from the coin they cloned

This can be remedied by switching the node protocol version and banning nodes that are not are not in the new coin's specific range. This is like putting a bandaid on a gunshot, though, and only fixes it temporarily, but it will work as long as the parent coin does not switch the protocol version to be within your range
This is the solution iGotSpots came with.

No news from EnergyCR, last time I contact him he was busy and not with EnergyCoin.
As long the volume is good I see no problem for delisting.

We have to face the facts and think about options we have.
We need a skillful (maybe payed) developer who can fix the problem.

Options I see:
- fix the problem with present blockchain
- create new EnergyCoin and distribute the new coins with info we have from the block chain

The moment for this problem is not so nice because I talking with parties in the Energy sector for application EnergyCoin but better now this event then after we are online. I see this as a learn moment to make things better. The concept of an EnergyCoin for green Energy sector has still great potential! We are listed an on great exchange and that gives also value in case if we have to redesign EnergyCoin. The problem with the block chain is bad luck and  that has occurs because there are to less users for EnergyCoin yet but that can change quick if I can work out the plan I have in mind.

OK, so EnergyCR should handover the coin to you.

I will try to Google if a new coin use same port number, to see if it's someone's mistake or an attack.

We have too little nodes on our network.

If we don't find a coin, I will try to plug my hardware firewall to monitor what is coming from network but I have little time today and beginning of next week (my company is firing me right now  Grin)

If someone can listen network flow with wireshark, maybe we can learn something.
Thank you sardokan we all contribute what we can.
There is no need for panic becouse the idea I have in mind is the real value for EnergyCoin.
If nessery we just create a new EnergyCoin and make it stronger than the present one.

Before I put my 2 cents in I need to ask if there is a way that we can get the current chain moving by creating nodes that agree to start talking to one another starting 2 blocks  back on the current chain. essentially Im asking if the network can be "rebooted" by forking the current chain.   It is unfortunate that I have very little programming background and this situation might poke me to start changing that.

I am looking at this as a great opportunity. Even if we cant recover the current situation, we can take what we learn here and build something new that perhaps includes what we would have liked the coin to be to begin with. I would support a new coin or other situation that helped us get by this but i think it's important to learn what happened here so that anything we do after this includes the ability to keep something like this from happening again or to fix it if it dose happen again.  I plan to do what I can to support things but my limited programming ability is going to leave me out of the development side of things for now.

I suspect that this might have been an attack because after looking at the chain explorer there is multiple "next block" hashs where I notice that many times there  is only one next hash line associated with a block.

What ever happened, deliberate or not, I think if we could start processing one block back from the current stuck block and move forward things would likely start moving again. problem is, if it was an attack it can keep happening if we do not understand it.

Is there a way to see what node/client processed a transaction? I would love to be able to see more detail on what happened with that hash rate spike.
