Hi all, The release I posted here last day. Was an old one.   I apologize, but it was my mistake, I had 2 working directories in C: which caused me confusion.

So if you need faster start up time, and lagging fix. Please download this new release.

It's v1.2
Which includes faster load, and irc seed support removed.

However, to make this one work. You must backup all your data in %appdata%/EnergyCoin folder. Then start energycoin-qt without the EnergyCoin folder. Without it the app will crash. And -reindex will not help either.
backing up wallet.dat is important.



Please compile the github source again for linux as well. Much appreciated!

Maybe try with fresh download blockchain.

I ask this because my previous release is still running well. I suppose this release is not a mandatory update and I just don't want to re-download the whole blockchain.

 I realize that Im not the dev, but I wanted to point out that my Raspberry Pi still runs the old version and everything seems to be just fine. I think running the old version will continue to work. It's a good thing, i will need time to do the Pi updates when the new client is available ( if it is not already ).

 So, yeah, I think the old version will still work in the future.

I did sell my ICO share on MNE to support the 50 sat level.
Are there more ENRG people going to suport me or do we choice lower exchange levels?
Somewone is dumping a lot a coins now.

At this time a few of us already hold many millions of ENRG.

It will not help if this small group of ENRG-enthusiasts keeps on buying ENRG and keeps the price artificially up.

If we keep doing so, it results in keeping newcomers out of buying ENRG, as they simply do not buy at the higher price level.

We have to face the situation: currently there seems little interest in ENRG by new buyers at the current price level.

That is not so surprising, as there has not been a lot of exciting news about EnergyCoin for quite some time.

A lower price together with the upcoming Android wallet could very well boost the number of new ENRG buyers and holders.

With that, price will hopefully follow.

the problem I see now is maybe that free distribution is not the best idea. however I wouldn't know that without actually doing it. It was best to charge some kind of fee for share. maybe just 0.05btc. That would stop people from dumping much.

Anyway hopefully we get more news articles after releasing the wallet for android. Then we will continue to work.
I have already fixed a few problems with the wallet.

btw EnergyCoin is now exactly 6 months old.

I forgot to mention, This update is not mandatory. v1.2 is just for new people who have any problem with slow wallet. New wallet is still functional, its same chain.
