Question: What if the top voted slogan is a minor deviation of another slogan?

It takes a fair bit of consideration to come up with something genuinely original and profound; hell of a lot easier to borderline plagiarize and it'd suck if the originator gets no credit.

Example: I was the first to use the letters of node as the basis of a slogan and used Open Digital Economy; if someone's spin-off like New Open Digital Economy or Networked Open Digital Economy beats out my original Nexus of the Open Digital Economy, I'd consider that a rip-off: 95% of the originality and 75% of the content was mine they just swapped a word or two. If the winner built slightly on someone else's idea, should the prize be split?

Even if one provides the majority of the originality and content, relative to the top voted slogan, it is still incomplete.
It is that remaining 5% that the other party contributed that perfected it to make it the top voted slogan.
In my opinion, if the work is derivative, the two parties can split the bounty (1/4 stake each).

Have a look at NFD! the dumpers has destroyed the NFD value

There will be dumpers in early days for sure. This is unavoidable. A Nemstake is going for around 24,000 NXT so you can base your valuations on how Node compares to Nem as a coin, but I wouldnt let the early market scare you into selling, in fact I intend to buy when the dump bottoms out.

was there anyone who didnt get their name taken off the list complaining? to be honest its not surprising that it seems such a mess. a few people with many socks can log into many accounts and make things seem much worse than they really are.. so as things may look bad i dont think things are really that bad. its when you have genuine honest investors with out socks complaining, then you know there is a problem

Yeah I should have known that you can tag along your friends with ya with 3-5 bestfriends and a roomate, my mom and dad brother and sister, boyfriend girlfriend or whatever, could have netted me around 10 stakes and saved me some money from being honest and buying additional stakes on auction.
