For the benefit of all Node investors here, I'd like to point out that Node accounts are not secure enough, as you have seen from all of the hacked accounts recently. This is because Node is susceptible to brute force attacks. Have you noticed how short the account numbers are? There are MANY passphrases that can result in the SAME account number.
Those of you who understand how NXT addresses work will know what I'm talking about. Newly generated NXT addresses are not very secure until at least one transaction is made, at which point one unique public key is tied to the account number, making it virtually impossible to crack. Crypti, which is also based on node.js, allows for a second passphrase to be tied to an account number. This is an elegant way of securing your account.
Node doesn't have any security measures like this built in.
You are not completely informed, hacked account was only small symbols simple brute force password We have not once said that the password must contain a few characters, even if it consists of up to 10 characters Example: Yhjk-8*&This is the only case which confirms that you need to generate a password of different characters Secondly we have a function that will be implemented in addition to the key phrases You look just at the moment You think that if we connect the USD / EUR all security will apply only from the phrase, in the connection of additional functions and they will be free of charge as compared to Crypti

Good point. But node is just a brand new coin, maybe we should give it more time to improve.

I remember NXT from back then and it was definitely a mess compared to NODE's release.
As well it took like 20-25 days for NXT to gain a big capitalization while NODE is still on day #8. If you consider how fast BitsharesX went up, it could be possible that NODE could be booming in the weeks to come - just need the patience to hodl.

Let's face facts here, with this kind of giveaway there was lots of sockpuppets, just like NEM has lots of sockpuppets I'm sure. So the truth is those people tend not to worry about the price too much and are looking to dump straight away. We are in this early dumping phase, it's an opportunity cause long term NODE seems like actually a very good system, quite possibly top 10 coin at least.

This isn't some pump and dump clone. This project has been going for one year for those who have been following from the start.
New code coins don't come along that much.

it sucks i bought at ipo i admit !1,4 btc for what is now 0,5 btc is at current prices a bit much but this thing needs time and if you take the time and read this thread you can see that the developers arent in a hurry to get rich quick. now if you can keep the price low for atleast 1 hour i will sell some more btcd to buy node at these low prices and maybe sell these off when the price picks up a bit. maybe the initail investment maybe just the 0,9 btc . as someone said before me a diamond in the rough..
