I noticed, that only two accounts forging last blocks. Can we state, that NODE PoA is easy gamed? i don't know. somebody out there take advantage with Node POA Looks like so, there should be some kind of function where the same account could not forge next 10 blocks if there are more than 10 peers. I already said those are mines accs. FYI I made today only 2 txs, each 30k. POA working. Noone makes txs. We will try: Would not it be interesting to add a weight depending on the volume traded in each transaction. The formula that is available? I would like to analyze. so, to try must have minimum 2 account with balance 500k each and you must have total 1 million node, right? Yeep. It has 820k and 519k. ok, if you made good amount with this way, don't forget to donate me. look my node address in my signature

In some ways it is more secure. What you sacrifice is that it is possible for a "Bad" forger to get lucky every once in a while and if he just so happens to be ready he could forge a bad block. This is analogous to the ability of a "Bad" hasher with less hashing power getting lucky and hashing a block in BTC allowing him to double spend but a lot of things would have to go just right. VERY LOW probability. The thing it solves is the 51% attack because in a 51% attack the "Bad" Hasher can just out run the good ones and get almost all of the blocks. With PoA even if the "Bad" forger has 75% of the node Activity (I'm just going to call it that without going in to the math of spending verses time) the good nodes still get to forge 25% of the blocks making his double spend effective only 25% of the time and quickly revealing who he is. Basically the 51% attack has now become a 90% attack. also the network distribution should be better so it makes it harder to cut off a large portion of the network by disconnecting a few nodes. Read more here http://eprint.iacr.org/2014/452.pdf it's not a fun read at all but there is some good stuff in there.

I noticed, that only two accounts forging last blocks. Can we state, that NODE PoA is easy gamed? It is easily gamed in a small population just like if BTC had been a second generation concurrency and there was already competition for cryptos it would be easy for a large hashing pool to come in and mine all of the BTC. After the population grows doing this kind of manipulation will become a loosing game, a REALLY BAD loosing game. If people would just keep their nodes logged in after 5 days they would accumulate about 500k node worth of activity and once these guys lost a few of those large transaction fees this would stop. The problem is the pool of nodes is small and people aren't sticking around for the 5 days needed to make this a bad bet. The other thing is if there is enough competition for gaming then it quickly becomes a ponzi scheme in which a few gamers earn the node of the rest of the gamers and then price them out of the game. If you stick around a while this will stop. I also think the Devs are working on a short term solution to this problem till the node pool grows but until the update comes out this is the situation we are left with.

If POA can be easily manipulated by creating lots of txs between wallets, then that's a big disadvantage of NODE imho.
POA needs to find a way to encourage users to perform transactions, but it needs to verify that this transactions belong to a different person. In this case, the pseudoanonymity of cryptos forbids that..

I proposed to Silk to decreace reward to every NODE sent. Now it's 1 NODE = 1 point. So sending 30k I can easily overrun people who had client open for over 8 hours. 90k - and people who are sending no txs have no chances, because points reset every 24 hours (if I understant correctly).

My understanding is the tx points reset every 24hrs but not the time. The white paper was kind of vague on this point (understandably since it was only translated to English not written in English). If you are correct the only way to beat the game is to play, this will remain true even after the pool grows, a very poor structure if you ask me and I will probably not stick around if that is the long term plan. If I am correct you only have to wait it out. We will see, code is not out and Devs will have an announcement on Monday.

Well this shows why jl777 is badmouthing Node. He Owns Supernet and wins when Node gets fudded. Read and make your own decisions. Go supernet if you like centralization. It's your choice. but be informed.

Bullshit. Step 3: Buy Bitcoin, transfer to BTER and buy 500,000 NodeCoin.
Step 4: Download the Nodecoin Wallet (http://nodecoin.com/)
Step 5: Transfer 500,000 Nodecoin to your wallet to activate forging. But it should help push the price up so...

You have to monitor this pretty often, correct? Or am I not following this correctly?

this is why "forging" sucks and isn't fair. Node could develop something like leased forging in Nxt. This is where you loan somebody your Nxt or Node and they forge with your weight and then pay out proportionally. This is all hardcoded in the wallet so its a trustless system. Great stuff.

Really? and you have something called Ebolashare in your sig. 2 days without a forged block here so I'll probably stop running the wallet. I think this is going to happen with alot of forgers pretty quick if the devs don't address the issue quick.

I made up to 90k in two days and considering send it back to those who was running their clients 24/7 and feel "hurt" with this situation. But only when dev team present fix for it. If you believe in NODE you should try to abuse cleint/POA as hard as you could to make it better and find as much bugs as possible while it is under development.
