Hi - sorry I have not been as active over the last few days. I was travelling all last week and did not have a lot of time to post. But I am back now!
Updates:
-Now that we have a deep liquid market it will be easier to gain merchant acceptance - and I will begin that work today.
-NSF: as the volume grows we will no doubt have a little more volatility, but we should also gain some buy support form the new coins Bryce Weiner is planning. My view is that the general public will gravitate to the least volatile coin...that does not mean it can't go up or down...but it will in a less volatile fashion.
That is all for now, I will update as necessary.

What other new coins? Bryce Weiner just launched XDQ (Dirac?) the only way to buy XDQ is to use NAUT...I would suspect that is why we just saw a little price spike That's cool, good to build up an existing coin this way :-) not sure I necessarily agree at this point - it's clear he wants his hands on as much Naut as he can get and this is an easy way to do it... give traders a path of least resistance and promote his coin at the same time... not a fan at this point.... I'd prefer to see Naut paired with Gold. |

Bryce Weiner is a big holder of both of those coins... coupling his coins to Naut gives his coins a pump and I think will hurt the value of Naut.. it's just one more thing Naut owner have to take into consideration when trading and it's complicates estimating the perceived value of Naut. but hey - that's just my humble opinion... |

This way you don't have 2 steps of trade fees before being able to buy whatever is in the naut trade pair. |

Ultimately people will be buying NAUT more in the long run if Dirac ends up with a decent demand. While initially it may seem like it would cause this down, I still believe it'll be up overall in the long haul. Since you can only trade NAUT for Dirac right now. Who knows, with NAUT's extremely high difficulty and net hash, maybe a multipool will pop up soon... increase that buy pressure. |
