Seems like there's only a relatively small number of coins changing hands on the exchanges. Looking at the top 30 wallets on the rich list, most of them remain untouched. A lot of big players probably bought in early and are now content at riding this out for a while.

I'm sure there's plenty like me with coins on exchanges waiting for the POS wallet, I didn't sell but it was tempting. BK's idea about varying stake based on supply/demand sounds interesting and I hope that could work. Glad Fitch won last night too.

I suspect the top 2 addresses might be Mintpal's own http://nautinsight.buddylabsapps.com/top100 What do you think?

I thought the other might be cryptsy but my buy orders just aren't filling so I doubt it. I'm sending some btc to mint now and buying this dip if it gets there in time. Hashrate is well up today so might be last chance to grab some at this price. Do you think we should be on bter by now?

No idea, and to be honest I don't think the Chinese market is worth pursuing right now anyway due to the regulatory climate over there. One of the reasons why coins like Litecoin are falling is that they've been almost completely propped up by Chinese speculators.

Does someone also experience problems with transactions?
Naut is the worst coin I have ever used. Sending coins from one to another exchange is like a gamble. Only two times it happened within minutes. Now, I am still waiting... 14hours passed and nothing happens.
Still at 12/16 conf. It is simply annoying, because it is the fourth time that I loss money on these technical issues.
So what the hell is finch talking about 60sec?
Get these blockchain problems solved, before you start talking about success.

Looks like the blockchain is stuck again! BK has rented an ASICs farm to keep it moving, but maybe the lease has ran out or something. It should be permanently fixed in a few days with the PoS switch though. It's due to problems with Digishield, so it will soon be a non-issue.

Someone wants cheap coins before the next run, but it's too costly to jump the spread so instead they're trying to shake out weak hands. Just a normal day in crypto in other words

dumping miners are going to be upset as soon as this goes POS, Atm its really hard to get any sort of large position as the spread is huge and the sells are really thin, such a price increase on this volume reinstates that this coin is really undervalued. With the the current inflated supply of the coin holding very well with each spike i can foresee naut doing great well short term, mid term and long term. Hold those coins ppls you wont regret it.

Morning -
I want to thank the whole community for all the support with the Fitch Fight - I think it was a resounding success!! That being said, I am not going to spike the ball on the 5 yard line, we still have a lot to accomplish.
First and foremost is the switch to PoS - the fact that miners have such a huge influence on the blockchain is everything decentralization is NOT supposed to be. Right now I am the largest miner on the network - which makes me a single point of failure...not good...PoS should solve this issue.
Second - stability. I am extremely pleased with the market cap going from $0 to $1,000,000 in 60 days BUT the 30% drop overnight is unacceptable. It is still early days, but merchants will not want to hold NAUT if there is this much volatility. The NSF is able to cushion the blow, but with 4m coins and volumes over 100 BTC it is having less of an impact. The PoS multipool should help this situation, as well removing the miners from auto-selling will have a big impact.
Once we make the switch to PoS I hope to have a lot more stability...if we do not I will come up with something else.
Going forward my plan is this:
-Focus on high profile PR like the Fitch Fight
-Parlay the Fitch publicity into a major retailer/ecommerce player accepting NAUT...I would prefer this deal to be exclusive, i.e. NAUT is the only cc accepted
-Compete with Economics - I want NAUT to be the coin with sound economic fundamentals...this will attract investment dollars; once I attract bigger investment dollars I will have the demand to create a structured investment vehicle for NAUT. I have the structure ready to go, but need the investment demand first. It is a bit of a chicken and egg situation...but for now the investment demand is most important.
Enjoy your Sunday,
-BK
