Just thinking about POS and the possibility that your wallet will need to be unlocked for minting.
What about a simple security feature that lets you lock the nautilus app while your wallet is unlocked and earning NAUT?
I think I read something about creating a batch file for your PPC wallet which allows you to stake with a locked wallet. A few other wallets have a feature that allows you to Unlock your wallet only for staking. So a PW will still be needed to send, but will stake. Looks like this: http://puu.sh/aix0n/00b5294408.pngThe current Naut wallet is up to date so I'd imagine the POS wallet will have that feature. All POS should. Ah! cheers for posting that. good news. hoping the new naut wallet has this.

It would certainly work, but I think that we should have our own, sort of like Blackcoin has this (I know it's been posted a million times before, but it's really cool) http://blackcoinpool.com/dashboard It looks more professional, and we'd be able to tailor it to Naut a lot more.

Damn guys, Bittrex had a higher volume of Naut than Mintpal today. I wonder if Mintpal really is on the way out, or if it's a temporary hiccup? Will be fun to see what happens in the next few weeks For some reason one very, very rarely see big buy- and sellwalls on Bittrex, even during high volume. Seems to me that coins that are predominately traded there are much, much more volatile. I'm not just talking about the shitcoins, but pretty much every coins that's mostly traded there. Anyone noticed to same thing? you are right and i have a proof: last night someone filled my order on naut at 11k(sold down to 10k) while the price on cryptsy and mp was 18/19, me and few others got few cheap nauts(thanks to bittrex volatility)

It seems to me it could just be private hashers pointing at it for now or multipools.

hey guys david getting upset about naut not doing pos on time, https://twitter.com/d_seaman/status/490864250164752384 and few more tweets before that one, i have to say i agree with some of his points, i left naut cause of inflation and came back thinking it would be handled as promised but weeks keep passing and nothing changed but price (going down), coins transition all the time starting new chain and swapping coins for new ones, why not do that if possible?

You gotta love talking heads. "He doesn't give them a pass". Well good for him. It's better they get the PoS and the fork right than fast. I also expect if BK thought it would take this long he would have had the digibyte devs fix the bug so the block times would be resolved.

My guess is that David is upset because he's promoting Naut quite a lot, and people are bashing him when things like this happens. I can totally understand that he feels the need to say something about it. I wish we got an update on exactly what is taking so long. Maybe there's something the community could do to help? Also, maybe Julian would be interested in taking a more active part in the development? He seems very knowledgeable, and delivered both the Mac wallet and the blockchain in time. Regardless I'm holding my Naut for a long time It's just a little frustrating not knowing exactly what's going on.

Things that really matter take time in this industry. BK is a good man and he has every intention of seeing this through. We helped start NAUT, we have been working on our own multi-algo fork but we know things are being worked on for NAUTI, and all of this takes some testing as we are sure they are doing their best with POS. If all else fails we will be here to support NAUT. Of all other alt coins we believe in this one. Things are being taken care of with BKs resources. Rome was not built in a day. If you want to learn how to program, go to lynda.com, they have a wonderful crash course in a lot of languages for $20 per month and you can learn some coding. More importantly write the NY regulators about your concerns with their proposed regulations. Yes, we need regulation to move forward, but not like they propose. Right now you have the chance to be much more active than just supporting one coin.... support all of us. We stand together.... or hang separately.
