Anyone know why Bittrex is reporting block 20,289 as the last block? https://bittrex.com/Status (search ERC). Deposits are delayed because of it.  Block explorer appears to be up to date (http://explorer.europe-coin.com/explorer).

Nevermind - it caught up.  Sorry!

In my wallet the total money supply says, 92,402,248.58377272 (from getinfo).

According to the original post, the total supply after PoW stage was supposed to be 137,632,000 ERC

If we do the math:

Block 1 = 3,840,000 ERC = 1% Premine (http://explorer.europe-coin.com/block-height/1)
Blocks 2 - 770 (769 blocks * 100 ERC/block) = 76,900 ERC
Blocks 771 - 1440 (670 blocks * 1000 ERC/block) = 670,000 ERC
Blocks 1441 - 10080 (8,640 blocks * 10,000 ERC/block) = 86,400,000 ERC
Blocks 10081 - 20160 (10,080 blocks * 5,000 ERC/block) = 10,080,000 ERC
-------------------------------------------------------

3,840,000 + 86,400,000 + 10,080,000, + 670,000 + 76,900 = 101,066,900 ERC

What is the correct number of coins?  Why is the current money supply reported by the wallet substantially less (approximately 8.5 million less) than what I have calculated?  And why is the current money supply over 45 million coins short of what was said would be available in the original post?

If there are 37 million less coins that should be noted because it makes the coin more rare (and worth more!).  Is my math correct?  Is there a bug somewhere that is causing the moneysupply to be reported incorrectly?

I think you're forgetting to add the interest rates in your math. Wink

Btw your calculations are ok and the original post were saying well with the total PoW coins: you need also to calculate the 1% of premined coins to add there. Wink Don't think should be any bug.

moneysupply thats the truth
any coin no matter how created pow/pos
is listed there

if by some reason ur rollout produced less pow coins....
who cares......

pos up to max coins reached will run a bit longer

@dev how is ur plan to protect network when coin max is reached and no pos can protect the network?

we at diamond have a 30+ years plan and even above
i think for serious coins u need to provide us ur longterm plan regarding network security

PoS working fine. You have to unlock your wallet and wait that your coins will mature

I mean that you have to encrypt your wallet and unlock it for mint only.

When did you received your coins in the wallet?
You have to wait a minimum of 72 hours of coin's maturation age, WITHOUT MOVING OUT ANY SINGLE COIN!
After the 72h of maturation, coins will start to pay interest related to your stake.

Smiley

Hope you can ask the next time before say that something is not working.

Dear @cryptonit,
thanks for your interest in ERC, it's always a much attention symptom to have other's coins devs watching us and getting involved within our community! Smiley

Btw after checking your DMD ANN, I feel quite sick about it, it's very amateurish and looks like a fool's gold.

Don't take this as an offence, i'm saying my objective point of view, in a constructive critic way so you can maybe enjoy some tips from a "colleague".
I mean, you bold staments such
Quote
Diamond Coin (DMD) is an amazing digital currency that allows people to send cash anywhere in the world instantly, securely and at near zero cost.
or
Quote
asic resistant
or even more
Quote
groelst......compared to scrypt it have less power useage and heat production on most GPU even below x11
.
As said this kind of advertisments looks to me as already said a kind of "lark-mirror", and no innovative concept about securing the network or any other stuff that could be technically exciting.

Seen that you relaunched after some core changes.
You're saying that your DMD structure will protect your network in a 30+ years long term view...are you serious?

Come on mate you can tell what you want to newbies and to attracts foolish birds to your poison plate, but please do not mess with strong IT background people.
At the actual technology status EVERY BLOCKCHAIN AND EVERY COIN  could be attacked and defeated by a massive worldwide collaborations between possible attackers. If you would have some real coding and technical skills about cryptocoin's structure and functioning you wouldn't even think things like that. Also the famous kgw has been found to be possible to exploit, and EVEN SSL was bugged..do you understand what i mean?

First of all NOTHING IS ASIC RESISTANT OR PROOF.New algos coins are just "asic-atm-nonmineable(but who knows if some core dev has already modified asic scrypts???) Asics could be developed for any algo in circulation. And even more.

The only things that is preventing Asic hw manufacturers from building new algos ASICS is just the economic one, i.e. the ratio between costs of manifacturing/income for ROI and net earning, because new algos coins STILL REPRESENT A MINORITY IN THE WORLDWIDE CRYPTO MARKET CAP.

If tomorrow the groelst or the x11, or whatever algo you take as example, will become the mainstream algo of the strongest market coins, be sure that the day after a new asic miner would be developed for new algos. It's just a matter of buisness for them you know?

Our coin IS SECURED BY THE BASICS BUT AT THE SAME TIME THE STRONGEST TECHNIQUES from preventing any known tech issue.
But take an example of a 51% attack.

No problem, we can hard fork the source in less than 6 hours. We got active contacts with pools and exchanges so everything would be updated in a flash and the attacker would find him witha  bunch of useless bytes inhis hands....you know what i mean? I hope yes.

THE ONLY SECURITY FOR A COIN IT'S HIS DEVELOPMENT TEAM, IT'S SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE, IT'S STRONGNESS AND FAITH, IT'S PASSION AND ACTIVENESS FROM AND FOR THE COMMUNITY.  Smiley

If ,when pos stage will end, there will be the needing of making some changes there wouldn't be a problem at all upgrading or changing everything.

As you can see our ERC is born from 10 days and has grown is a amazing way. This is because we're acting well and everyday trying to perform even better than every day before, and more over our community is building itself strong and holding against trolling.

Good development + good community = excellent coin.  Very simple math Wink

Hope you will take my words positively,
with my best wishes of luck for DMD,
i hope that you will join our community too.

Thanks. Have a nice day.

Hi all!

I have a noobish question, about the staking.
1) Is staking active from launch ? Or after the END of PoW ?
2) How to start staking ? do you have to encrypt the wallet then unlock it (stake only) ?
3) Wallets that are not encrypted do not stake ?
4) Wallet needs to be opened to be able to stake ? (closed wallet will not stake?).
5) When the maturation process begins ? I got coins on my wallet from the begining, never send any off the wallet but no staking taking place (the sign on the bottom saying all the time: Staking your weight is... 29 minutes to reward (but nothing happens).

It would be great if devs could give some clear instruction about the subject.
