UPDATE: though I am right about my view about the ERC OWNERs behavour, I like to clarifiy that the CryptoSkills has NOT been the operator of this coin, he coded ERC as a contractor and has nothing to do with the problems we experienced here. Same is true for the operator of survivorcoin. I just wanted to correct this, because i would not like to damage innocent peoples reputation.

You know very well that this is the same person that has been active as dev in this thread.

Of course i know that, but if he is saying he developed it as a job , I have no proof, that this is untrue.
This is for me, not evidence enough to puplicly accuse, somebody.  Also he offered to take over the coin and run it, wich i felt as honest.
Lets wait how things are going, there is noting to loose here anyway :-)

About the last part I can agree Smiley let's see if this coin can resurrect

Wow...I dumped 300,000+ at 20.  Went and grilled out on this beautiful Memorial Day.  And come back to more arguing and a price of 13.  Looks like I made the right decision.

HA!  My only regret is not getting out sooner.

I think Europecoin will bounce up in value in the coming months.  It has a good branding behind it which is a lot better than some of the other coins out there.  Smiley

Hi

I don’t know what the devs were thinking, but this coin is a natural winner, when you look at the twitter account you can see that EuropeCoin has almost 1000 followers, and it is not easy for new coins to reach that amount of followers so soon.

As it is has been said a lot times, the name of this coin is amazing, the name gives to this coin the feeling of a digital Euro, which is incredible, and it makes it easy to advertise.

What should be the next thing to do?

1. Well we should hire a new development team (If the old one is not willing to come back).

2. The total amount of coins to must be reduced to something around these numbers (95 – 100 millions)
That will reduce the dumping problem and will attract way more investors.

3. Take over the twitter account. Someone responsible must ask to the old the development team for it or we must hack it and retrieve it, with this twitter account we can keep advertising EuropeCoin in the social networks.

The development team must integrate the anonymous feature (Yes, this is the new big thing) by doing this and introducing a couple of cool things in the wallet like for example: Integrating an EuroEUR / EuropeCoinERC converter  will help us to get ERC added on Mintpal automatically. Which means that we will be getting around  1700 – 3500 satoshis for our coins.

This coin has all the necessary to be one of the top 10 crypto-currencies.

sounds interesting, the only thing wich is not clear to me is how to reduce the number of coins, when all coins are already distributed?
b.t.w. if we don't get the original Twitter account i can contribut an account with 9000 prefilled libertarian minded followers and rename it somehow, wich should convert a little bit easier.

What could be done is lowering the interest rate and set a new maximum of coins.

I'm sorry, I didn't know that all the coins were distributed, because when I look at the supply that is displayed in my wallet, I can only see 92-something millions, is my wallet broken or something? And besides, Have you seen what the guys from SaturnCoin have done? They reduced their coin from 7,777,777,777 (7.77 billion) SAT coins to 7,777,777 (7.77 million) so I think that at this point everything is possible.

Anyway!

Do the followers of that twitter account know about Mintpal? Because if the do, we could be listed there by the next Monday if 25% of them voted for ERC at least 3 times a day, I mean we could make giveaways there to promo EuropeCoin couldn't we?

As it shows only 92 million, it is 92 million in this state. It will increase with interest.

Long time no see! It's a good thing that guys are still alive, we were organizing a take over through PM.

And I see that you have read what we were talking about reducing the amount of coins, that is a good thing as well.

Could you create a tipbot in this subreddit:

http://www.reddit.com/r/europe

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/178118868/ERC/subreddit.png

By tipping on this subreddit, we will be attracting the attention of the mainstream people and that is what we need to grow. I would be tipping there personally everytime I can.

Please explain your theory deeper.

We can hardfork easier then swap it, my friend.

Btw we think that swapping could be a benefit for actual ERC holders, but at the same time gives the possibility to others people to get involved. We were thinking about giving ERC a stable PoW + PoS, that can guarantee an attraction to miners, well calibrated with block reward and PoS interest to avoid excessive inflation.

Swap proportion will be 3:1 from ERC to ERCv2.

This means that if you have 3Millions ERC you will have 1 Million ERCv2.

Total coin of ERC v2 will be around 90M , starting with 31M circa of swapped coins and with Total Coin Generation estimated on 10 years from now.

Whatever you do please! Don't change the name of this coin, adding suffix will make the coin harder to market; in short, that will backfire on us. And believe me branding is important.

BTW,

What is the total of coins available right now?
