I can confirm, however, that the registered email address on the account on our ning network is xxxxx@xxx.com which is the same one mentioned in the original paper.  So perhaps whoever created that account is indeed the “real” person, whoever that is.  I’d guess they likely are.

So, I guess the email address has been transferred.  Grin

Satoshi Nakamoto is a British Asian Digital Scientist. He is not Japanese. He lives in London but work from some where else.

I really doubt "he" is a real person, or is a single person.

Most likely "satoshi" is a name given for the "founder of btc" by the real creators, whoever they may be.  This way the attention is constantly focused on this one "mystery man" and not on the real people behind btc.  Also, I cant imagine one person would be willing to just keep all his millions of $ worth of btc, and leave them untouched.  Seems like the group in control of them wants to keep them untouched, so as not to hurt the fragile btc economy right now.

It would be trivial for the real Satoshi to prove it, if s/he wanted to, simply by signing a message with the genesis block key.

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

Satoshi nakamoto was the first to mine, as he / she / they created the code. There is no confirmation that weather he is a one person or a group of people, he is a hidden genius who invented the concept of bitcoins. No one knows is who is real satoshi, does he exist or nor, is it just a name ? These are some unanswered questions.

to me it really sounds like a name that a group of people came up with, in order to remain hidden.  Now, everyone is hunting for this one "guy", but if he doesnt exist, and is just a fake name to throw people off the trail, then it makes it much harder for the real creators to ever be found.

Right. But as several other members have pointed out, he never signed his messages before
I dont think Satoshi "needs" to prove it is really him, it is the content of his message that matters

No one knows who is real Satoshi, weather he is a man, woman or a group of people / company. He/she/they are the one who started the bitcoins and their identity is still hidden.

My pet unprovable theory is that Satoshi (I think it is a single person) works for a government organisation for his day job and Bitcoin was his home hobby project. That organisation would come down hard on him if they ever found out he had released Bitcoin so he can never reveal himself. This thought gives me closure and peace that I will never know who he (I think it is a boy!) is.

We know who is Satoshi Nakamoto the day he chooses to reveal himself (if he still alive) until that happens, all we can do is speculations

me wonder if the reason Satoshi disappeared is because he ended up in jail for some shady reason or another.
many major players in the early bitcoin community are going to prison.
