If that's even his name. Just read the bitcoin wiki on him and I'm amazed. Nobody knows him.

Long time passed since he last posted in here. Why? "Busy"? I don't think so. He was active when bitcoin needed support but since the slashdot...
Also, it seems has knowledge in many areas, especially economy. He doesn't act like the average human. Not taking advantage out of his creation, leaving without telling anything. Is he even a single person or a group?

How can someone create something so great and not stepping out to get the credit?

The creator/s of bitcoin might think that the best way to support and improve bitcoin is to do it under the shadows and away from any issues with fame and popularity. Think  of it, if Satoshi Nakamoto show himself, he will be the hot topic of both good and bad criticism. I think the creator/s of bitcoin deserves some break time.

One of the features of bitcoin is anonymity so I think it is also fair that Satoshi Nakamoto will remain hidden from the public's eye. Bitcoin will still be here and improve even though he didn't show his face to us. He still helping along with his group (which I belive that exist) to make bitcoin better.

Everyone will say it but unfortunately Mr. Nakamoto is never seen or reported by the media, this is because until now Mr. Nakamoto is like a lost or a mystery.

Its like he has planned everything and have seen the future outcome of bitcoin in the upcoming years ever since he or they established it. I think it would be normal to hide his identity for security purpose bu I believe satoshi nakamoto represents not just a single person. It would be very hard to make something like cryptocurrency that can actually work and become a contender in the market and reach this value with an effort of one person alone.

The second option sounds quite ridiculous. Why should the "titans" create something that can destroy their business? It is similar to saying that Saudi Arabia is funding the research on electric cars.

My pet unprovable theory is that Satoshi (I think it is a single person) works for a government organisation for his day job and Bitcoin was his home hobby project. That organisation would come down hard on him if they ever found out he had released Bitcoin so he can never reveal himself. This thought gives me closure and peace that I will never know who he (I think it is a boy!) is.
