I keep getting this weird screen from time to time when I try to log in. 80% of the time the miners are still going but sometimes they are not. Any thoughts on what it is?

You havent' Redis running. if you have installed it just try with

Code:
sudo service redis-server start

Or install it with:

Code:
sudo apt-get install redis-server

i am having an issue where if I leave the tab for Minera open in Chrome for more than an hour it crashes and i have to reload the tab. Anyone else having that problem?

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

Chrome Version 50.0.2661.94
Windows 8.1

I do run adblock but I have it disabled for Minera because it was causing me some trouble earlier. Not running any other addons.

im running this with bfgminer and the futurebit usb scrypt sticks..

i noticed that when i am mining on a pool or solo with a high diff, and there is no shares being produced something is restarting bfgminer.

its something in the minera scripts, because if i run bfgminer in the term it doesnt do it.

i think its the auto restart, even tho i have it set to 600 seconds.. it restarts if it doesnt see any shares in a couple seconds.

any ideas?

I think it could be only the "Autorestart if devices are possible dead"

yeah if i turn that off it doesnt restart.. ever.. even if they go dead.. which they do cause these things are very buggy. Sad

i even put it on 2 devices with a 600 second wait and before the pool can adjust the diff it restarts.

You should increase that time if you want to use it with high difficulty pool. Unfortunately I cannot know if the device is not processing share due to the high difficulty or device problems.

600 seconds is 10 minutes.. it doesnt go 10 minutes tho before it restarts..
it only does it on some pools.. usually ones that start diff high and works down.

Basically I think this cannot work fine with high difficulty pools, I should re-code it.

Hey , I love minera over them all well if you look around there is no better one to be had that does what minera does or will do as time goes on .

i have been meaning to ask thu why minera all ways show the wrong % for hard ware error if you need screen shots will supply but it's all way been that way the rest of minera seems on track .,..

example what i mean minera shows the right Hardware error but if like at the command line for bfg or cg the % is different

minera shows 5.39% for 74 while CG shows 74 (0.003%)

same with BFG but i just rebooted BFG so right now it will be off a lot . seems my Alchemist miner from time to time needs a reboot i don't think that's minera at all ... i only have five out of eight boards online right now due to i need to have another 240 line installed if i want to use it at full speed and the rest of my very small farm to gather  on 240 power ( i don't like the idea of a lot of miners running over 110). it is one of the best script miners you can get right now beside the A2 till later this summer ......  when the A4 comes out if you think about it,the A4 is not really gonna use less power just do more but not use less power. my thought on less power would be 500 watts @  500 MH not 1100 @ 500 MH to me that is truly using less power (500@500) but don't get me wrong the A4 will be nice ..if i have the cash and they sell to the public il be getting one of there 128 MH A4 miners and will be buying some A2 once they hit the market cheap im sure they will be but still very use able with minera.

Does Minera average the temperatures from all 3 boards for its readout? I have a machine with 2 bad temperature sensors and minera reports it running at 20c  when its actually around 67-68c

no temps show , i'm using it with a PI not the controller it came with, jstefanop never added that in BFG i know of, i bought the miner with a broken controller cheap and just got it running with any PI type .

I'm guessing it running very cool with .002 to 0.03 hard errors % if that and no rejects most of the time and doing a reboot from time to time seems to help it run smooth all the time.

my Hard errors with BFG after it's been running 10 mins

19 (0.754%) they are usually lower i can get them to go lower but it fine to me ...which right now minera is showing right but over time it won't

minera shows 0.75% for the same HWE but in about a hour it won't it will show the wrong error % but the Right hard errors. it may be doing what your saying  in the Calculation stuck on some thing and not showing the full true total % or degrees C etc of only one to three boards but not all of them and then not avenging the Right totals . it does show the right hash i renumber a while back there was a issue in minera with it showing way off hashing but that has sense been fixed .
Fixed well, that if you put in the wrong setting it does some awful high number the miner can never do then it might shut down the miner or minera just stops, which is good .

I'm using a few of these http://www.amazon.com/Silverstone-Cooler-Computer-Cooling-FHP-141/dp/B00A460TK6?ie=UTF8&colid=3JTZSPDAOY0T6&coliid=I2YWMFB9T4AU9M&ref_=wl_it_dp_o_pd_S_ttl with some lower pulling fans to cut down on the noise levels the stock fans do with this one on top on high blowing in air https://www.amazon.com/gp/your-account/order-history/ref=oh_aui_pagination_2_3?ie=UTF8&orderFilter=year-2015&search=&startIndex=20 it works well with way less noise and I keep a eye on rejects and hwe . but do plan to uses 6 of the FHP-141 one more of the Holmes Dual Blade Twin Window fan and make it run even cooler that should acttly give it better air flow then the stock fans do with less noise i just wish bfg  would show temps .

I gonna leave it that way and put two of the other three boards in there own case and may sell the 8th board still haven't made up my mind yet on that .

right now this is what minera is doing on a cubieboard 1 PI with 5 Alchemist 256 miner blades on Ubuntu 14 with a 7 port usb 3 hub and a 2 k server PSU with six pin PCEI plugs with no heat from them yet, been running about week off and on that way.

I can upgrade to Ubuntu 16 and have but minera has issue with PhP 7.0 sense 16 no longer supports php5 .....im a ware you can share php 5 with 16  but it's not the same.

Minera is Showing the right totals but most of the time it doesn't. hash it does  all ways and the temps you see is the cubieboard not the miner .
