Wallets recommended update. Wallet links have been renewed.

Changes: Stake split threshold increased. This reduces "dust"(very small) stakes.

In order to get the merchants acceptance and attention, we will need to start pushing Digit towards exchanges. There are plenty of choices, but only few of them are popular enough to truly make a difference.

We could start building up votes in Cryptsy and Mintpal but to be frank, it might not be realistic to get listed on those sites without injecting a substantial amount of BTC to acquire enough votes. As previously mentioned, we have decided to not buy our way into any exchanges.
This leaves us with only a few choices, but there is one excellent service provider that does not take BTC for voting and has proven its legitimacy. That service is called CoinedUp. They have a Reddit voting system for helping them decide if a coin is popular enough to be added.
With your aid, we can try to get accepted by that exchange. For that to work, please go to their subreddit and vote up our link. We'd especially appreciate if you added a supportive comment to go with it.

BTW, if you mining at MineP.it you may have seen that the blocks weren't updating. This was just a reporting issue and the blocks were still being found. The stats should be updated now and everything is running as normal again.

Thanks!

Cant log in at the site. Anyone got the same problem?

At the MineP.it site? What happens when you try?

Hello, MineP.it. Did you compile qt or daemon or did you download latest 32bit or 64bit wallet?
We have tested all our compiled qt wallets and they are running flawlessly. We also checked that zip download links are undamaged.

You do not need to generate your key on their site. Its a free option. You can also use your wallet receiving address as usual.

Why cant you solo mine? Whats stopping you? Check the block explorer. Digit network is running just fine!

There are plenty of solo mining guides and its really easy.
in your Digit.conf file make sure you have:

rpcuser= anynamehere
rpcpassword= anypasshere
rpcport= anyfreeporthere
server=1

If you are running cgminer and wallet on same PC then 127.0.0.1 as IP and user, pass, port as in your Digit.conf file.

http://www.swissminers.com/static/swiss-miners-logo.jpg

We have just launched our new pool http://www.swissminers.com also featuring Digit.

No registration required. Mine with your Digit address or your public key for Multipool (private and public keys can be gernerated at site)

Enjoy a high performance Node.js backend and SCRYPT/SCRYPT-N mutlipool/profit based coinswitching. Come in, find out and enjoy mining.

We want to appologize to all the miners in the last 2 hrs for not seeing any Digits. We did have some serious problems with our block notification which is fixed now and blocks are coming in.
So please feel free to come back and mine with us some Digits.

Thank you and happy mining

Pls put a google two-way authentication methode on your exchange for extra security. Pretty much all exchanges have these nowadays. Shows that the exchange takes security very seriously.

further feedback :

- creating Digitaddress on your exchange : no problem
- transferring DIG into your exchange : no problem (fast too)
- placing trade orders : no problem
- cancel trade orders : no problem
- withdraw DIG / BTC : due to beta operations / manual processing some delay but no problem in the end

qwizzie

EDIT

found a bug during registration i think, password can not be copied into the the password field.
you need to manually type it in the field (copy & paste doesnt seem work in the password field during registration).
If you have a very long and difficult password it will complicate things during registration.

Digit is not a zero premined cryptocurrency. It is premined of 170 million DIG.

10M DIG will be used for giveaways. Giveaway threads will be published and announced regularly.

160M DIG will stay in DSF wallets and and start collecting stake interest. Base coins will not be sold or traded in any case. Stake interest generated DIG will be used as explained below.
