Bittrex is still with us... we are trying to reach.. over other exchanges too.. but we need to show more coin value (that can be for example.. by continuously trading at Bittrex) and to get more people to know we exist.

Hi,

We'll keep you available for another week. At this stage, we're giving 1 week reprieves for coin devs so that we keep getting updates on how the coin is doing. At some point soon, we're going to expect to see some momentum of the coin or we'll remove it.

Basically it has come down to us being on the chopping block weekly until there is continued support for this coin in terms of sustainable volume on bittrex time as we have all been saying we need to see some sustainable volume i think the number they were looking for is .1 btc volume average. Also we will need everyone to help contribute with this and to voice their support for XLC so that when it comes time for that weekly removal they will see the support and following for the coin.

as of right now we are #66 on alcoin with 49 votes
and we are # 240 on mintpal with 292 votes
currently we are #30 on bter with 9 upvotes and 0 downvotes

Although nothing wrong with trying to drive up interest via voting campaigns, I think you may be targeting exchanges that realistically you have little chance of getting on... at least anytime soon, that is. One problem with rare-ish coins is there simply isn't a lot of coin owners to begin with. It's not like there are hundreds of millions of coins out there.

You may be better off just throwing a btc at kingcoiny/austinglobal/atomic-trade/swisscex/etc. as a bounty and seeing if they'd take it. Again, basically just as a lifeboat in case bittrex drops the coin. And again, rebranding is what the coin really needs, in my opinion. XBC has that whole DCM fiasco hanging over its head, and now mostly absent devs (with 2 of the devs linked to DCM), so no idea what benefit there is to be linked to it at this point.

But to explain more about the intentions over "starting to get voted..." over several exchanges.. is not (for now) to get right away into an exchange.. it's to create awareness.. because everytime someone will see XLC there.. they will search for it and if they think the coin is not known.. and.. have been "moving".. then something good might happen.

Site has been updated to include links and information for Bter and Allcoins along with the countdown. Working on some graphic updates and then things that will go along with the rebranding and remodeling which we have planned this will most likely not come for another 2 weeks as i wont be able to dedicate too much time to it until i return from my travels fro work.

so my 1400 will be worth nothing soon.  I secured the network by mining 6600 of the first 7800 blocks.  I guess having a low coin count on an easy to use POS coin just isnt worth anything these days, heck XBC isnt doing any good either. Though to its credit it has remained over 2x its ipo price.  Anyways unless the ipo money from XBC and XLC gets spent on some developments aside from the free developments of trying to be added to more exchanges and patting eachother on the back we are doomed.  Im not even sure what developments would help XBC or XLC.  there has to be something no one has thought of.  it seems all the established coins even if they are inovative become stagnant.  XC (x11coin) price hasnt really moved in weeks.  if theres no drive to collect or use the coin, just being a coin is not enough...

*edit* by the way, props to barteam and intothelight for all their hard work, hopefully a way does come along to increase visibility and value for this coin..
