I wonder if having the option to darksend would address legal concerns. However, I feel it just being available is enough to cause problems.
I'm not concerned about darksend right now. I do however, want a working android wallet, which would work very with CoinKite. Think about being able to reload your CK debit card with BC from anywhere, any time, (as long as you have your phone and a 4G or wifi connection). I think that's a bigger deal than darksend at the moment, especially if CK flourishes.
Boom.focus for mainstream adoption:) as RJSchex says, we need to roll with the punches. we have these tools and resources right now,let's roll with them:) Do not be lulled the value of Blackcoin today "20K sats" is already included with coinkite. |

monsters, eh? another army of clones, this time probably with PoS and a hastily coded insecure darksend copy? a lot is done, not only the coin/wallet code itself does the trick. By your logic Bitcoin has to be dead 1000 times since 90% of ALTs are way "better" than the slow and ecologically desastrous dinosaur. |

Yellowcoin coming on MintPal. I doubt this will affect us at all. Other PoS coins should be afraid.  |

Well,i dont think anybody cares. I mean, it is actual Reuters.. Point is, huge amount of people will read this,and 95% of them won't even see this "small print". It's like when new James Bond movie plays for the first time. Most people would be like "wooow,Bond kick asses",and 5% will say "but wait,in one frame his hair was wet,and in another dry". Yes,it's true,but who cares... This brings story about BC to practically everybody,and that is cool It's the same as our old press release on Yahoo Finance. It's still great obviously, but not OMG status. Everybody reads reuters. Yahoo Finance read people who reads Yahoo Finance... |
