There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Why would BC need coding tho..its pretty hard to hack, fork, etc

Because improvements > stagnation

I cant and dont know coding for shit, so please explain why coding for BC is necessary? Im not trolling/fudding etc but i just wonder why. I love this coin lool and donated some to PR marketing but i need to understand the coding part.

Bitcoin is still in beta, and that has been worked on for 5 years with multiple developers. Software is always a continuous process. Even when it's finished, it's not. Look at virtually any software product--how many of them stay the same with no updates?

Wallet software improvement, PoS security issues, protocol extensions, non-crucial bug fixing, new technologies like e.g. darksend which are actually implementable in any coin, etc etc etc.

Sanity prevails and a new self-moderated thread has been made. Already you can feel the mood lifting from the dark dark cloud that previously threatened to lay waste to this discussion.

So I'm glad the thread is back, that we can get back to talking about BC and innovation, economics, philosophy, business, and all the other exciting cool things that brought most of us here in the first place. It was awesome having 1000+ pages in like a month but all good things must come to an end someday eh.

As was mentioned earlier, Soepkip you handled the situation earlier like an adult and didn't surrender either to threats nor accusations that right up until now have no evidence base. I wish you the best of luck taking this thread/community forward and I personally cannot wait to take part in what will hopefully be a really exciting month for Blackcoin.

potential is great, but its just potential.

Thanks Smiley And i too believe this month will be exciting. Now let's just all leave the old the old and move forward to awesome things!

In my life, I've been presented with many situations that forced a new beginning.  Sometimes not in my favor.

This is a good new beginning and in our (BC) favor.

I wanted to keep BlackCoin thread open and not self-moderated. It was staying open even after events of recent days. But what happened today is completely unacceptable.
Keep constructive and on topic.
