Hey. Idea. Why don't we try to contact some of the vendors to add support for payment via BC? It'd be a great way to have joint publicity as I'm sure the PR campaign for a crypto coin is going to insane enough as it is. Let's build on that hype. V-Moda, Schosche, AOC, LifeProof, Philips, MSI (For gods sake they make the boards for most of the miners), Archos, Blue-Ant. And, most obviously, Think Geek. All excellent tech companies with great products that would help BC's image.
Thoughts?
Take into perspective that we're 2.5 months old startup so they're MUCH more likely to support Bitcoin if any brand wanted to enter crypto. And as you mentioned mining - if we manage to go world domination over everybody's asses mining will probably die out. I see push-back from crypto-mining complex  as one of the risks we'll have to face in the future 'cause in last few years mining (equipment producers, mining farms) has became multimillion $ business and nobody likes you when you're messing with their multimillion $ business. Luckily their power is limited by their number of supporters. Which are few. Mining, believe it or not, its still a very niche community. Even with multi million dollar setups, thats just large overhead. |

Blackcoin will be part of a tv documentary that will be shown in Finnish national tv in beginning of 2015. The reporter will follow me and my endeavors with BC during 2014. First interview and filming was this morning, and we will continue later this evening for the first part. I hope we can see a lot of happy faces during summer, when we go above 1$ and beyond  All get on teamspeak and discuss stuff in 3 hrs so it looks like we are actually doing something LOL Mitä vit...? More info about this please sounds good It will not be a documentary about Blackcoin, but about the community where I live in, and some personas from that. So BC will get some airtime for sure, but it won't be a BC documentary per se |

I remember when I first joined the community, I always spelled it Blackcoin, but then I distinctly remember Soepkip correcting me and telling me it was BlackCoin, and I have been writing it that way ever since. +1 for BlackCoin |

Howdy all, can anyone tell me the best way to keep my BlackCoins safe ? I have a small amount on an exchange which I use to trade (hot wallet) The rest of them are stored on my QT wallet, I am paranoid about malware / keyloggers but would like to benefit from staking and help support the network by keeping my wallet open. What are my options ? Thanks in advance  |
