very low amount of btc traded on eveerycoin today :O (the calm before the storm! everyones cashing out of other alts to get ready to get back into BC!)
Yeah, I was looking at Mintpal this morning and if VRC weren't there, there wouldn't be a single 1000 BTC volume coin right now. Quiet indeed. But even with VRC, it's still a very low volume day all around on Mintpal. Nothing with value except for BC, that is Mintpals fault for adding so many shit coins. I'm a fan of BC (even bought some more on this dip down to 25700), but I wouldn't say the sole coin worth investing in on Mintpal is just BC. There are obvious other coins that still have value (due to features, due to marketshare, due to community, etc). I agree that additions of all the shitcoins is pathetic and I feel bad for those that lose money getting caught up on the next new thing, but I don't agree with your comment about "nothing with value except BC". You are probably right, there are other coins that have some value, but I don't thing think they will make it very far. BC is getting better as it gets older while others are dying from lack of valuable innovation. Of course if BC becomes complacent and stagnant then it will have the same end. I believe valuable innovation is the key to survival.

As I've said before and I'll say i again : if you need tickets to an event, I'll try to pull what little strings I have for a press pass. It's doubtful I can get two people in, but one should be no problem The only problem is this will work best for events which I will be attending as well, so the USA ones are definitely out of the question. However, for the upcoming EU ones, let me know who wants go go where and I'll see what I can attend myself as well. Do keep in mind that I don't have the BC community fund so everything I attend is paid from my own pocket, or from donations on CryptoArticles, which are usually next to non=exissting Keep me in the loop and I'll see where I can help

I'm raising money for the Alzheimer's Society by jumping out of a plane, and I've only got a couple more weeks until I do the jump.. I was wondering if BlackCoin / BitCoin could get involved somehow! I'd love the support from you all, and I promise that any donations given will go straight to the Alzheimer's society, Please see the reddit thread for more information: http://www.reddit.com/r/blackcoin/comments/27eh84/so_im_raising_money_for_the_alzheimers_society/Thank you all in advance! Any questions, I would be glad to answer them! There is still time to donate to this! Please, I would seriously appreciate your help from the community. It's going to such an amazing charity, and I'm hopefully going to email them soon about accepting Cryptocurrencies as a way of donating. But for now, I'm accepting donations for this cause, and in jumping out of a plan for it.. I'm skydiving for the Alzheimers Society! I would love the backing of this community, as I'm trying to raise as much as I can, and I'd even jump with a picture of the BC logo, or BTC and BC logo, as I fall, and get a picture of it! Even if it's a small amount, it's always better than nothing! I would be seriously greatful, as I am with MrCoins who has already donated 125BC! BlackCoin Address: BEhFVzar4sRPGZGSAAySgp5w8Pb19qGa8A BitCoin Address: 1GcbaPbjcFAjVCKjWPpmH2UXxQo1wAp3kn Thank you in advance! But I will thank ever donator individually!

quickly made a little image that includes "us" and not only the "big fella" Game changer! Now this, is a real feature to buy a coin for! I think we will need our own (50 page) tutorial on how this works, as it's really a lot to take in. We could possibly get some users in your BETA test to maybe start writing up some tutorials as you go?

Mintpal only wants money from the fees and prebuy(watch a coin that is getting close to be added to mintpal) that one is getting bought insane on poloniex or bittrex. As long mintpal keeps doing this, we will see this list growing till the end of time. Man i want the old days of mintpal back, just 5-6 coins on it. Was much better than all those 0-1BTC 24/h coins.

Or at least on option to hide coins, some other exchanges got that. I'd not even need to see more than 3 at a time there, and i do not care a bit about all the pumps and dumps going on with a different coin everday... well, currently not using MP for trading at all, as long as they keep adding shit 2 times a week i won't "reward" them with my trading fees.

So which exchange do you use? If you don't mind me asking.. I usually use Mintpal, but like you, the amount of coins is overwhelming at times. Their graphs are great, and really useful, but I do what a change. What others can you recommend which trade BC, and others? And what are the fees?

I think "men"/plural is used because it means as much as "no kind of 3rd party required"? It kinda works either way, but I think a standard nomenclature would peg it using the non-plural format. Normally I'd say keep it to middle man, as usually there's only the one handler such as an exchange, but that's just a slight nitpick. Overall it's works just fine regardless and gets the point across.

The costs would be: Flight Soepkip - 1300$ Hotel Soepkip* - 250$ Flight TheDoge - 170$ Hotel TheDoge* - 250$ 2x Tickets - 600$
2570$ - BTC: ~ 4 BTC = 14200 BC
There is currently 20800 BC left in these funds, so that would leave us with 6600 BC for future usage. We'd like the approval of the community to use these funds for this trip.
To save costs me and TheDoge will share a room.
Source: http://www.reddit.com/r/blackcoin/comments/27imal/blackcoin_boots_on_the_ground/For ~ 18k BC , we can get McKie, TheDoge, Soepkip in Washington. We already have this money we just need approval. I'm personally fine with this. I think it would be good for them to show face. Would like some reflection on it afterwards, though. I think Soepkip should only represent Blackcoin in Europe to limit the costs. This would enable more future representations. Don't spend everything right now, as we need a future! +1 what are the arguments for flying soepkip to the US (a 2nd time)? Wouldn't it be better to have 3 local US guys represent BlackCoin for the price of 1 soepkip? There are many leaders here in the BlackCoin community that could represent us. soepkip could sit this one out. +1 I would prefer if Soepkips expenses go toward development and to limit his travel to Europe to cut travel expenses and boost development. +1 +1 Tend to agree with this sentiment. For $1300, he could likely make 2 or 3 conferences on that side of the world and have MORE visibility than if TheDoge McKie and Soepkip all went to the same conference in the US. Seems kind of expensive to have him fly all the way here when there are many people already in the US that can go. Not that he doesn't "deserve" to go or wouldn't do a good job. But isn't that part of the reason why the foundation has members from all over the world? So duties can be delegated to their region (more or less) and have a more cost effective way of promoting the coin?
