My entry point in to crypto was finding bitcointalk. I'd never used Reddit before. But as CoinGecko use Reddit stats to measure community activity, and people use CoinGecko, I had to use Reddit.

So we have all these information sources. Can I get my aunt/uncle on to bitcointalk? Not a chance. Even my kids don't use forums.

It is our responsibility as a community to do our best to share the information as best we can. There is no right or wrong way, but let's try to be as efficient as possible. If we see something somewhere, that is not somewhere else, just repost the link. It's not perfect, but it will do the job.

More importantly, the BlackCoin Music Video is drawing new people to BlackCoin and through Google, they are finding old threads.

There's enough of us using these platforms to help gel them together. The more entry points to updated information we have, the wider our reach. Given that BlackCoin is now 6 months old it is expected that information can become a little fragmented over that time.

That's a good idea. We need to get the description on the video updated so that it assist with directing visitors to the correct locations. When Jabulon get's back from France, we'll get this addressed.

BC is above 10k on bter

Looks like a few large buys have pushed price to 11k on BTER.

well, the guys who keep the price down on the other 3 exchanges took (of course) care of it within shortest time.
Somebody seems to be working really hard to keep it below 9k for days now, on BTER someone posted a sell order more than 2k below the next highest when it went above 11600.... couldn't be more obvious.

still nice to see 80+ BTC volume on BTER, can't remember that i saw that exchange actually move the price, even if only for a short time frame.

Thats the same when the price was dumped to 8k on mintpal the same day as BC pairs went to bittrex. One single sale of 39btc 1500 satoshi below lowest sell order.

Using BLKfeed is great for preaching to the choir of your existing investors, and it may pick up a few new ones on the way, but THIS is the place to get people to go there and to invest in BC.

I agree. As ironic as it sounds, this forum is actually better than Blkfeeds's forum as an education tool because of the trolls.

Whenever they post their provocative BS it allows someone to respond and in turn educate everyone. XBladeX does a very good job doing this. I've learned a lot bc of his replies to the trolls.

The Blkfeed forum seems like a place for BC fanboys (of which I am one).  How long will it take before people start getting banned on there for not towing the party line? Blkfeed is good as an information tool for people who want further information about Blackcoin.

Divesting away from this forum is a really, really bad idea.

It used to be lively here.

Any way I fixed it.   Like always, I could do any change if needed just let me know . I would love to improve the appearance of this thread. for those who don't know this graphics match the color and style of the new wallet

I third/fourth this suggestion.  The garbage in that thread (as unpleasant as it might be) is still a part of BC history... and in a rather ironic way is actually positive.  At the time there was less of the "Army of Trolls" effect that BCT has seen in the past 3 months affecting almost any coin... now it's almost a badge of honor for a popular or profitable alt-coin.  I've even started judging coins based on this when doing my due-dilligence...

Tons of haters = might actually be worth checking out. 
Nothing but fanboys = move along, not worth the time.
