Summary. Here're some of the updates- Added a command which shows actual difficulty in the daemon - diff
- In Core were added methods allowing to determine and to get the desired height, the height we need to be synchronized. In cryptonote protocol_handler.in is now a call which determines this height
- Added checkpoint at a height of 22400
- Wallet behavior has been changed. Now wallet's work finishes immediately if the command was sent through command line. Previously, wallet be to continued his work
RPC- Changed the actions of RPC in a daemon. Now the daemon responds to some RPC requests even if it's not synchronized with the network. If the daemon is busy saving the blockchain it returns as busy
- The RPC request 'get_info' in daemon is also returns the desired height. This allows monitoring the synchronization process with network
- The RPC request 'stop_mining' is now processed even if the core is busy saving the blockchain
- Added a new RPC request 'mining_status' which returns hashrate, the quantity of the mining threads and the miner's address
- The RPC interface now has a 'get_address' request which returns the address of the wallet
- The RPC interface now has an 'incoming_transfers' request which shows the list of all incomings of the wallet, meaning that the call does the same thing as the namesake wallet command
- The RPC's request of the wallet 'transfer' now has a payment_id argument
For pool creators & devs- The block reward bug is fixed
- Changed the maximum size of the transaction in wallet2
- Added Doxyfile and info in a ReadMe file on how to use it
- In miner.cpp were added methods to receive the address which is mined and the quantity of mining threads

Wrote on GitHub it's merge remote-tracking. I'm developing other things now (I already wrote about it), but it doesn't cancel to changes on topical issues. |

And why don't you ever do it to Bytecoin devs, lol That would be because we have never included any of their commits since the original fork and are already diverging from their reference code as we correct deficiencies: https://github.com/monero-project/bitmonero/commits/masterIn fact, if you look at all of the licenses in the source code it's attributed to "The CryptoNote developers" under the MIT/X11 license (not withstanding the epee library that is attributed to Andrey N. Sabelnikov). There are no references in the entire project to any Bytecoin developers. Thus, it makes the most logical sense to view it as a reference implementation, seeing as how it wasn't written by "Bytecoin developers" anyway. |
