So far the text in here. What I did wrong was maybe typing "-" when wallet.bin was needed, I don't know, such a noob. Thanks again for helping me.
For the file name "something.bin" or even "something" would probably work. "-" is not a valid file name. File names can contain hyphens, but they can not start with a hyphen. Why did the wallet fail to connect to daemon? Maybe they use the file name as the user name when the wallet connects to the RPC server in quazarcoind, and "-" isn't a valid user name.

If by insolvency you mean that the coin won't survive, I don't think that we can reach that conclusion. There is technically nothing wrong with Quazarcoin that I can see, other than the fact that the trading volume is low. You see other coins that were abandoned by their developer, or that have been discovered to be scams and have come back. This is a new experience to me because the coins that are delisted are usually flawed in some way. I didn't realized that they would drop even a good coin if the trading volume is too low. It makes sense though, because they make more money with higher trading volumes. The fact that Quazarcoin has just developed--not copied--a new GUI wallet, I would expect it's price to be soaring right now. But as ontopicplease has said, people are selling their coins because they are forced to move them out of the exchange. If they don't want to or are unable to deal with wallets, there is no other option but sell.

I don't understand why everyone is so concerned about the delisting. This won't affect the coin

I see it as you, good coins don't need a rush, sometimes they just a need a little bit time. Where can I find out the price of the Quazarcoin and other alternative cryptocurrencies?

I have a few geeky questions about cryptonote. Why are the incoming transaction amounts broken into multiple inputs. Like for example, 34.7 might show as 3 inputs: 30, 4 and 0.7 JSON incoming transaction lists look like this: [ { amount: 700000000000, global_index: 55734, spent: false, tx_hash: '<2c96d15134c272bd03a7677eb48bef5f0c3a8de29f215c71f60b59e6a4a73baa>' }, { amount: 4000000000000, global_index: 25328, spent: false, tx_hash: '<2c96d15134c272bd03a7677eb48bef5f0c3a8de29f215c71f60b59e6a4a73baa>' }, { amount: 30000000000000, global_index: 745, spent: false, tx_hash: '<2c96d15134c272bd03a7677eb48bef5f0c3a8de29f215c71f60b59e6a4a73baa>' } ]
Is this done for anonymity? Is there any danger in summing these together to get the original transaction amount in the user's wallet? What does the "global_index" property mean?

They recently developed a GUI wallet, which is a major thing. But they haven't changed their github pages for 2 months. People who go to github to see how active the developers are will get the impression that they aren't doing much. For that reason I think it's important to keep github up to date with he latest improvements. Unless there is a reason not to, the new wallet should be included on github. Even if it's currently at the alpha stage, it can be put on github and labelled alpha.

How can you say the coin is dead? The system works and it develops. If you miss some updates, it doesn't mean that "the world stands on the site". It is your fault.

There is no real development going on here. The lead developer pops in every once in a while and makes some posts, what he does the rest of the time I have no idea, but it has little to do with the coin. The thread itself is kept alive by a series of one- or two-line posts that are almost always devoid of real content (usually some form of cheerleading or inane comment). I have no idea if these are deliberate sock puppets or bots that are mining post counts for sig campaigns. Almost certainly one or the other (or both). You are witnessing a coin-mill clone coin in the caretaker phase. More info: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=740112.0

More info: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=740112.0I looked at the link of the June 6 "release" and what I saw was not an official release. The developer working on the wallet just mentioned that he made a wallet for the Macintosh and provided a link to it. It was news to the main developer, so it can't be called an official release? The recent release included Linux, Windows and Macintosh versions and there may have been a lot of work that has gone into it after June 6. If you are going by what github shows, well developers usually work on the software on their own machines and don't upload changes to github until they are confident about them. If you are going by github, that's not a reliable way to know whether the developers are doing any work. And saying that a coin is dead, what does that mean? I would say, a coin has no future if it has problems and no one is willing to fix them. But that is not the case with Quazarcoin.

But it certainly wasn't "recently developed" it was "developed" at least to the point of usability back in June, and possibly improved later. Nevertheless I stand by my opinion that not much is going on here. You may disagree, fair enough. I guess we'll see how it turns out.

How people are not able to see the potential of Quazarcoin? Looks like it is the most underrated thing in the whole cryptoworld, and the price of the coin confirms it.
