i think XC is fine personally, but it is an abbreviation and that abbreviation should stand for something, coin is out of the question, been there done that it's been over used yes bitcoin uses it, but doesn't mean the other thousand crypto do as well, i remember seeing something further back about XC is going to be using blockchain 2.0 or something like that, so when someone suggested Xchain i thought this was perfect, it matches the original abbreviation which in my honest opinion is set in stone now, easy to change for x11coin toXC not so easy to change it to something entirely different, and from what i have herd XC will be one of the first to use this blockchain 2.0 ( sorry not really much of a tech head lol) so this is just my opinion but XCHAIN really does seam like a good idea, who ever thought of it, great stuff, but im just throwing ideas out there, i will be happy with what ever the community decides on  XChain! nice I don't really like XChain because it has 'chain' in it, and so you wouldn't normally associate it with a currency - for the common person every crypto has a block"chain" doesn't it? and we will be one of the first coins to use block"chain" 2.0 so just think about that, but it's just a suggestion and not my idea, just throwing it out there as i said, i will b happy with whatever you all decide on, just no coin lol block chain 2.0 is the next big thing! i don't know much about it, but everyone seams to be excited so must be good |

I would rather get away from the target board theme. The logo imho could explore 3 themes - high-tech, simplicity and peace of mind. |

Thats actually not too bad :-), I like it, its probably the best abbreviation so far. Not bad, but doesn't really roll off the tongue. And Chinese will probably hate it. |

Dev is aware of the fact that something about the brand needs to be done. Let s not be too narrow-minded but collect fresh ideas from the community and/or professional designers. The "X" is not a must, to my mind it s rather a bump. I ll repost my thoughts about it, guys, please keep this brand discussion alive. XC is NOT a name, it s an abbrevation! I think it's great and a lot of people love it, sorry but it's been decided. Dude, it s decided for now because we needed a quick solution. Sorry to become rude but ur close minded reaction to criticism just proves u r not a professional. This one here is not about celebrating your first shot. You made a nice start but please curb ur vanity to let this be handled by some specialised folks. I'm sorry it was decided because a lot of people wanted it, not everyone has to go with your ideas. I was not being vain, I just got tired of you posting the same stuff every few pages when the decision had been made. Le'ts move on. XC is nice, what if it's not a name. Do you call IBM International Business Machines or you call it IBM, What about BMW, HP etc. etc. ? XC sounds like Sexy, I like it I really don't see why we need any meaning behind it. People would still get to know the story and how it developed from x11coin. My only concern is having a ticker that starts with an "X" is bad. Exactly. I tend to agree.. XC has its own ring to it, so what can we do about the ticker? ideas? XC in latin numbers = 90 , but having a 90 as ticker or 90C is weird imho. I think I would go with 11XC, that double 1 will ensure we stay on top for a loooooooong time. After giving it some more thought perhaps 10C is not a bad ticker. 10 in latin numbers is X so we still have XC, then we also have 1 and 0 as reference to binary arithmetic Your ticker needs to be easily recognizable as representing your coin. I think 10C isn't easily tied to XC for some. |

Also some countries have already dismissed altcoins as a currency.

we should make a list with the ideas and the supposed meaning behind it and let the dev decide it's his coin
XCURRENCY- because it's a currency
XCHAIN- because every crypto has a blockchain but we will be one of the first to use block"chain" 2.0
XCHANGE- because you can exchange it for goods, and services
something like this submit it to the DEV and let him have the final opinion on it
